Soil Centrifuge. Every planet. Every time. You have a Mission Log book in your pack. You cannot claim items, but you can track and check missions. The small power gens are best for small bases. I've found that 2-3 Solar and a couple of Turbines will cover pretty much everything. Best part is, they make their own platforms. On that note, the little shelter has a single connect on top, so a good spot for a Solar Panel or Turbine. That's pretty close to the power you need for the Anomaly, too.

FACTS. its great for starting on new planets so you dont have to waste precious power that is so hard to get when you first land to look for the basics like resin, compound, and many others.

Hey Z, snails can have any seed, their effect just lasts more if it's their favorite seed. You can also feed them while in the backpack. Also, remember that you have a guide about resources, planets and plants. Sometimes you wonder where stuff are and that can guide you to your objectives.

Hi Z:) Just to help You a bit - You can "queue" second seed for your snail, so he will it it when he's hungry again putting it on top of his terrarium :) And they can eat any seed :)

You can use the tapper on the dagger roots and the pop corals... any plant works if you plant them yourself.

The best "vehicle" to get is the surf board. You can get it early on, on Desolo. You can go SUPER fast, and you can also carry things like spaceships while zipping around. And you always have it on you. Only time to use an actual vehicle is when you need the extra carry capacity or oxygen away from the base.

Tip: You can put a med storage on the front of the tractor. Also hold R to pull up a radial to access compass, mission log or research panels. Snails will eat any seed.

11:50 you can store a extra seed on the terrarium, so feed it, and the put another, and you have an hour of use for no extra slots Also, 12:34 there are 2 types of power thingys, ones that require a certain energy output per second(the visualization is on the cord) and ones that require a total amount of energy, regardless of time.

So just a quick heads up Z, the VTOL requires the Hydrazine fuel, and it only has three spaces for you to place the fuel, on top of that it absolutely DEVOURS fuel with a quickness. So, it's kinda cool, but honestly the Hoverboard is way more useful, albeit maybe not quite as neat looking.

Easy and somewhat cheap to make power source on any planet is to automate medium generators. Replant and tap plants, auto arm the organic to smelter then auto arm the carbon over to a platform with generators. 4 medium generators on the large platform B will give you 36 power.

The whole pumpkin tether thing is due to an event going on, which will be happening for the next two and a half months, you'll likely stumble across some of the event items in your playthrough. Though im sure you'll remember the event, it's a Re-run of the F.A.R.M. event, so feel free to check it out at some point!
