Gallop is unironically amazing. You basically heal up to 100 health for free whenever you run around, and shields aren't subject to heal reductions, so you can just stand there and fire away with the health buffer taking hits for you, and if you kill enemies while shooting it even gives some shield back.

Sounds pretty good. I need to use the Armour evo more. I think it has synergies with 4 other evos making it one of the most easily partnered ones if I'm not wrong. I don't think others have 4 partners.

Beelz you can lock any "skills" of your weapon at the reforge site so you will keep that "slill" and get new better ones instead of reforging everything

I think you have to break the tubes it the last area in a specific order so the alarm won't go off. If the room glows red skip it and look for the one not glowing red.

Beelz, something about the chaos chain is that it can only tether once on an enemy but for boss it will disconnect dealing additional dmg after. After that you can tether them again. Also, some projectile actually passes through walls that are thin enough if you stand directly next to it. You can bypass your chaos link through some of the wall. Some weapon can benefit also. For example, Silver Blade dagger throw, School Torture chalks, Spare's spare, Javelin's javelin, Blink Blade Swift blade, Wok's wok and many other. Heck, this weapon can also shoot through walls.

Guess what, my beautiful Australian friend, I have a wicked hearing and your efforts did not go unnoticed. 👍 On another note, I think the reason why the weapons doesn't do much when you're already set for a build is that there's not a lot of things that encourages you to change it. Take Skul for example, you'll swap skulls on a whim to fit what items you pick. You have nine slots for items, and whatever you pick up may change your build. Or in Dead Cells, you're encouraged to change weapons and skills to fit the stats you rolled on them or to make good crit synergy. You change weapons either to upgrade damage or to make better stat and crit synergy. If you have a set build then good for you, if not, the stats and crit will carry you through.

My 2 cents on weapons (8:17): that was exactly my thought when I first played the game - that once you start with a weapon you like/choose, there's pretty much no incentive to change it mid run. I tried all the weapons and while they were diverse and enjoyable; there was one, the warhammer, that somehow felt overwhelmingly great by a large gap for me. To the point where I didn't bother playing any other weapon afterwards since nothing else seemed as fun. I initially thought the weapons were unbalanced (fun-wise) so I asked people on the steam discussions what their favs were (thinking they would choose warhammer too) but thankfully everyone had vastly different favs which I was glad for. It didn't solve my prob of nothing feels as good as warhammer to me and all other weapons are practically xp fodder but I was glad it was a me issue and not the game. But this is an issue for me in many roguelites (and you briefly touch on it too) - that once you find a build, or weapon that feels good, is fun and effective, it's hard to change. Even for variety.

I've never commented anything useful... So here's three types of builds I like doing when I just keep dying. "Would you like to donate some blood?" Spike Core, Belligerence for the duo upgrade, and the Violet Dagger. Spike Core's damage is mostly just bleed, but with the duo upgrade with Belligerence, the on hit damage of the Spike Core becomes actually worth a shit in boss fights. "Oops, everything's dead." Execution, Hologram for the duo upgrade, Bayonets. It's just heaps of damage and manic laughter as Nephthys's healthbar disappears. "zeus i call upon thee, fucking destroy them" Pulse Mastery, Killing Skill for the duo upgrade, Plasma Sword. Plasma Sword is just made for Pulse Mastery. The skill stuns enemies in Shock and the skill hits a lot of times. ...to be honest any weapon with a Multi hitting skill is usable. And you can lock modifiers in weapons at the weapon modification station before every boss. Please stop gambling away your good modifiers.

Things I'd switch to that fits regardless of build. 1. wok, versatile and has too much utility built in, bounce, fire buff, knockback, and burns enemies. the anti-air weapon in the game. 2. fist of might, hits hard and a boss melter built right, no cooldown, have bleed, you can completely skip killing machine since there is no cooldown. air attack is a large arc, very easy to hit airborne baddies. 3. practice sword, built in weapon damage buff just by killing stuff with weapon skill, a 5th dash if you have dash evo, triple iai jutsu just melts anything. 4. school torture, another boss melter, 40% bonus damage to marked enemy is hard to pass, build it with hologram and you get almost quadruple your normal dps, pair it with 20% bonus to boss and enemies with guard evo, 60% boost. drawback no knockback. its getting long but that's my top 4 weapons I'd switch in a heartbeat, those 4 don't really care about your evo build. So you do want to switch weapons. what you said about weapons, here is the thing, most weapon are ok, but are generally garbage the daggers, bar moonglaive and crescent spear outside the unlocked ones, good one is either violet dagger/school torture/prop sword. Yuletide is the worst followed by ascendance the axe unlock, the wok being the best. knockback, hits hard, ranged seeking weapon skill that bounces, gives you a fire buff. You'll pretty much gonna reset your run if you are speed running, 1 button and airborne enemies 9 out of 10 dies by the wok and it bounces, toss the wok and bash ground enemy, not having to jump around and air dash like a coccaine bunny is just the best. I see a wok, I'd switch to it in a heartbeat. Once again, you do want to switch weapons, just don't see the reason not to switch to a better one if it present itself, that to me is just baffling logic to just treat a better weapon with better skills and better built in utility as mere xp.

hey Beelz, u didnt notice but in the reforge weapon u can Lock some of the line ability to keep, so when u do reroll u dont need to lose the ability u like, but in exchange it cost more to reroll

Btw. I think the janitor robot in act 3 (first room on the right) just unlocks the ability to smash the tubes. After that he does not have any importance. I played like 60 hours and i have never seen him again after unlocking the tubes.

the mecha skill also brain washes enemies so they attack their friends also beelz you can lock skills on your weapon that you actually like, so you can lock say the homing bullets skill and reroll the rest,i honestly dont know how you missed it since it says lock next to the square at the bottom please can we see a phantom build next run? it synergizes with your extra dash that you love so much btw you can spam attack the red pillar things in the final area to get healing if you have life drain effects, it helps with angela and the other one also you missed the radiation ah well cool run at least
