@Rob S. I would like to think after his apology he kept his head down and everyone had a great event. After his apology if he broke any rules then fair enough, kick him out. If the game staff were that unhappy inthat moment then they should have just kick him out there and then. He really was behaving like a dick, but he did apologise. When it comes to the “bang bang” guy i see where hes coming from. What hes saying is that it sucks that he has to pull the trigger, he was pointing out that he understood the situation and would personally prefer not to shoot the guy. He said “im not arguing with you, it just sucks I have to pull the trigger”. To me its pretty clear that its just his opinion on the rules and not him arguing the outcome. I can see how its annoying to players to hear complaints like that because it ruins immersion, but they definitely lengthened the situation by arguing against things he didnt say. Telling the guy that “you are wrong that is in fact the rule” does not work because hes not arguing the rules existence, and now he feels the need to straighten out the confusion Noone did well there

Different roles have different rules. A rifleman holding a pistol = no MED Any gunner putting out 600rpm, with a long barrel like that, 50ft makes sense

ooooh how i would love to go on a 1 month vacation over to you guys and play airsoft everyday. I could make so many people mad with my HPA m82 XD but i have to say. no minimum distance with the main? well. under 10 meters. i use my backup. less injury less pain less arguments. But not every field has those rules.
@austinm56183 жыл бұрын
Even in real gunfights, blind fire is a HUGE no no. You’re responsible for every round that leaves your weapon, if you blind fire you’re not watching where those rounds are impacting, you could end up hitting friendlies, non-combatants, etc and getting a courts martial for that, all excuses be damned. Good on them for including that rule, not only is it a safety thing but it’s also realistic and adds to the mislim experience if you’re having players follow basic military marksmanship fundamentals and ROE.

I was surprised at this game about how many folks just hadn't read the TACSOP. Peeps showing up on Nato with non-NATO guns like Uzis and P90s, or the 7 bolt action snipers, or the fellas who literally brought bags of their own ammo. Not even for the immurshuns, but in the fact this was proof they didn't even look at the rules. Big sad.
@roflduck2324 жыл бұрын
Shieet this is pretty sad. Have to slip in a password into the tacsop or something, so you can't even buy a ticket without opening the file. At least that way they can't plead ignorance.
@Killa1624 жыл бұрын
@@roflduck232 Not to mention place the password at the end so it forces you to read it.

wait, the p90 is a non-NATO gun in msw?
@roflduck2324 жыл бұрын
@@toppegustafsson2892 as someone who's never attended MSW, my understanding is NATO are basically US forces, with weapons pretty much restricted to what the US uses. The exception is for people in organised impression groups like GROM and the KSK guys. If you turn up in some multicam rocking a p90, I wouldn't be surprised if some people were ticked off. Its like dressing up as US infantry then running around with a tar21. Israel is US aligned but it doesn't make any sense in the MSW setting.
@toppegustafsson28924 жыл бұрын
@@roflduck232 oh, well i can see why, but still the p90 is a "nato" gun, but if nato in msw is just us troops with some small teams of other nationalities then it makes some sense.

Unfortunately many people seem incapable of reading rules or documentation relevant to sites and events they visit. This lack of basic research appears to be a growing trend across an array of hobbies and is very noticeable on many forums, regardless of the hobby/activity they cater for.
