The ocean dump thing. Sykkuno just sbs the entire time so his character rubbed off on other players and they started doing the sbs in character. And they’ve made ocean dumping less “serious” because they find it funny

i also think it's because eli doesn't really take anything seriously and he does a lot that gets him in trouble. i feel like ellum treats everything as a meme in rp so he'll take it differently than others do

i agree completely with the oceandumping subject, but i simultaneously love how it's been assimulated into eli's lore that _he_ is the punching bag of nopixel who just always gets oceandumped (whether for big or small reasons). it became a problem when literally everyone -- *_civs_* -- began to resort to this option, specifically when petty feuding or joking around with a friend (or literally anyone). it lost pretty much the entirety of its purpose at this point... + edit: if it pushes lore, then i personally think it's fine as well. two good examples that instantly come to mind is, ray telling chatty she loved him then oceandumping him because she's fearful of rejection and abandonment, or april oceandumping murphy with pigeon because she's obsessed with her reputation, wanted him to know why she dumped him, but hates being seen as weak and really needed to stay on his good side to be able to propose business ideas for the rest of the council. again though, it helps their cases since *they are BOTH* (AND the clowns, AND pigeon) *NOT CIVS.*

It seems like leaving someone on a hill/middle of nowhere when their downed is for the more serious stuff now because of how much easier it is to throw someone into the water. In fact, some players don't really know how to play it out because of the fact that taking the local ems (previously) mostly meant they were ocean dumped or because of scuff or mountain lion attacks.

I totally agree that oceandumping is definitely overdone. The way that my brain has always thought of it (don't get me wrong sykkuno is definitely just doing it as he finds it funny most of the time) but i think of the character of Yuno as just being very oblivious and psychopathic in not understanding the severity of it and I do personally find Eli being oceandumped quite funny but there should certainly be a limit, especially when it comes to the more serious side of rp

I agree. Ocean dumping should be more serious. Its seem the players want to do it for their chat and the laughs that it gets. I see it all too often in chats. Players that do something a little more ridiculous also should accept using an alternative for memory wiping or attitude adjustments.

I think that GTA RP is just turning more troll and the major way to troll someone is to ocean dump them. But also just creating drama out of anything and RP it out (which y’all see as content) but the audience sees as trolling. And now it’s at a point where people just stop logging in because they’re now bored of trolling each other .
