Blau is my home away from home. 21 visits and counting from Canada. Your video is excellent however you completely missed the Chill Out Bar - which is the one exclusively for select clients. The piano bar is NOT select but for everyone. Many activities during the day and evening as well. Staff is the best you will find anywhere. Thanks for taking the time to promote this wonderful hotel!

I belong to a few Facebook groups for Cuba, and I see a lot of buzz about this resort, was just talking about it last night with my Mom! Really happy you did a video there. It looks pretty nice, not sure about the super structure…. I can’t imagine that will have the “feel” or vibe I would like, compared to multiple smaller structures, but a lot of people are talking about this resort so there must be something really special about it!

It's a main building, Mike calls all main buildings, Super Structure, ?? Been there, it's nice place, expensive for Cuba, IMO $2,000 per person, No thanks. No matter where you go in Cuba, Beaches are fantastic. As someone that been in various area in Cuba about 30 times, I know better where to spend my money. To each it's own. to get a room like that, you'll pay$$$$$$😅😅 Regular garden view is in upper $1000

normally we're not into "hotel" type of resorts, but this one makes you feel like it's NOT like that and that could be pretty cool. I definitely would look into the "Select" aspect as we like the extras. Beach looked beautiful of course. Hope Jen had a good restful time!

Just got back from iberostar bella vista. For the rating of the resort it was a bit underwhelming. Had potential but was just so so. Sol Varadero Beach in summer was a lot nicer and isn't rated as high. Didn't feel the earthquake. We had no power for half a day. Snack bar was basically ham and cheese and pasta daily. The odd day of pizza or fish. No eggs whole trip. But still had a great time

Wonderful. I’m so looking forward to that. We went to Iberostar Daiquiri in Cayo Guillermo the first time we went to Cuba about 12 years ago. I fell in love with the beaches then. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the sand was on the beach and in the water. It was like powder. The following year we went to the Melia resort next door. We’ve been you Cayo Santa Mario and just recently to Varadero. We booked the Iberostar Alameda but moved to the Melia International. This Iberostar was discussing gross. It’s advertised as a 4.5 star, not even close. Holguin is on our bucket list. We would also like to go to Starfish Cautro Palmas in downtown Varadero. We went there when we we there and an employee gave us a quick tour of the pool area and the beach. The beach is amazing there with a boardwalk the runs between the beach and the resort. It’s an older resort but I love that it’s right in town. Have you been to this resort? I’ll have to check your play list. Sorry for rambling lol :) I have to watch ALL you videos

Coffee supply is being mismanaged by govt, so they cut it with roasted peas. It’s in several publications. This is one of a hundred reasons tourism is slipping. A cheap deal has its limits. Something has to change soon. I know folks that live in Varadero and it’s dire.

So really pay attention to what funding fish is saying- things can change!! FF is a very easy going guy and rolls with it. With 3 kids you really have to ask yourself if you can cope when things move that go wrong- for example bailing water from pool to flush toilets if a power outage occurs- now it might not happen but it certainly has. They just don’t have enough supplies. Exactly as was stated it is a cheaper vacation so expect that The people are struggling

I see Ottawa from $795, Toronto from $815, even Vancouver is only $1155 for a superior room, departing Nov.15 th. That’s using Trip Central. On Sunwing Vacations, the price out of Toronto is the very same $815 pp, based on double occupancy. Where in Mexico can you go for that price?
