Days after being born, it was clear that Blayke had beaten remarkable odds. That’s because she was born with a rare chromosomal disorder, called Turner syndrome, which has a 99 per cent mortality rate in utero.
As a result of her condition, Blayke has experienced a host of health problems-from heart defects to autoimmune disorders. While Blayke may never be able to conquer Turner syndrome fully, she fights every day to make sure it doesn’t stop her from being her.
