BlazBlue Calamity Trigger: Noel Vermillion Basic Combos

Just a few basic combos for Noel. Keep in mind some combos are only possible when your opponent is crouching and some are wall only combos.

@KayoticDevoid Hit confirm 3c with 6C, 2C, 3C off of 6B. If 6B is blocked, 6C won't come out, and you'll know to do a mix up instead of an obvious 3C. You can pretty much make up strings that'll land a 3c as long as they're crouching.

Throw cancel 6C. Noel will whiff and you can dash forward to continue the combo.

@Thaynima Well, saying the actually directions is quite a mouth full. Rather than saying right, down, down-right C for Inferno Divider, it is a lot easier to say 623C. Also, when saying the actually words, people may confuse down-right as down, right for example. Plus, using the keypad direction is not that hard, if you forget, then simply look at the keyboard.

Before you start with the D section, you want them to be as to the ground as possible. That way, the first 6B doesn't whiff. With that in mind, delay the remainder of the combo. Do not rush, you have some time after hitting them with 6Bs and 5Cs.

You can go from 5C to 3C or 2C to 3C. This only works when your opponent is in a crouching state.

6C is the gunspin, you it after the 1st hit by pressing BC (throw)

Yeah That's what I thought it was but I could never get it...but I'll continue trying. Thanks. Even if the first hit doesn't connect, can still cancel and do it? Like do I have to practice on a character or I can practice in the open?

I just got this game today, I'm not vey good at it yet but I do ok as Noel, I mainly use optic barrels and revolver blasts to get along, but I still need to learn how to use astral blasts for her and how to use special moves but I'm sure I'll learn :)

How do you cancel the forward C right after she spins her guns? I can never do that, and it seems to be the basis of Noel combos.

How do you get D to hit after the 6C cancel in the video. Every time I do it, they end up being too high in the air and Noel goes right past them. Even if I do manage to get it to hit and go into 6B, C and 6B, the second 6B misses.

Alright so, someone told me to delay the 2nd 6B because the 5C will always hit them a bit too high. Still need to try it

@ripper6660 1= down left, 2= down, 3= down right, 4 = left, 5= nothing, 6= right, 7-8-9 upward from left to right. a b c are the attack button (square, triangle, circlet ( dont know about xbox one tough)) d is drive ( x ) j. stand for jump.

Yeah, conditioning the opponent with basic blockstrings and then mixing in 6B overheads is a good way to combo into 3C

Not really reliable. Sometimes u gotta go for the guaranteed damage... Extenuously long combos give them chances to break out. Unless you don't expect them to tech, you should just get the damage out.
