Hey can anyone help me on the whole Tk segment of the video. I understand tk is to tiger knee meaning jump cancel the special move but then I don't really understand what's happening after that. And it makes me wonder if that's what I've been seeing people do with corner combos Tk'ing growler into dp like some here at 7:46. Also I see at 7:35 he does Tk tiger and then at 7:52 tk sentinel and they just look like regular variations of the move. I'm sure I'm missing something so any help would be appreciated.

Check the inputs. Basically I'm doing 66 2369C or 66 2149C. You cancel your forward dash into a special by TKing the input. For valiant combos, no TK is required. Just tap 6 to cancel into the next move. Again, inputs on the side should show you how to do it.

How does Sentinel Dump after charger loop works? Does it only connect on crouch or timing is very precise? I tried doing 5C-236D for fatal and it didn't change anything

It is height dependant. If you're too low to the ground it whiffs.

@@ZarelidT Yep. I think that's also in guilty gear? Anyways crouching confirms are pretty important for Azrael since going into 3C leads into a bunch of damage. Fun fact: Jubei is always considered "crouching" so you can always combo into 3C on him.

@@ZarelidT definitely don't always go for it. Cuz if they block 3C at point blank they'll be able to punish you. Trying to set it up in training mode seems like a bit of a pain but probs the best way to go about it. Personally I just learned by practicing in real matches adhering an eye out.

I guess it's Option Select? An option select is when a single input can be read by the game as 2 or more different possible commands. The most basic OS I can think of was in Street Fighter 4 you could input the command for tech while crouching. If the opponent tried to throw you you would tech the throw.

Input or series of inputs that covers multiple options at once. Throw OS in blazblue for example is back+ABC. If your opponent tries to throw you, you tech the throw. If they don't then you simply get barrier. Covers both situations. There plenty of other OSes that can be used offensively and defensively.

TK is tiger knee. It's inputting a quarter circle input + up OS is option select. A button input or tech that covers multiple options at the same time Fatals are counterhits with certain moves that give extra hitstun for the whole combo.

In the description it literally says the guide assumes you have a basic knowledge of blazblue systems and have played through the tutorial. I guess the text goes by a bit fast but I feel aside from that, I covered most of the topics at length. Or atleast I tried to. What do you think I should've added?

@@DanteRadgroove but i was a few days ago that i watched this but mostly the growler stuff and set ups everything goes by pretty fast the text the moves( that's more so the game ) but its kinda hard to see what im supposed to do or look at your inputs at this speed .

it sucks cuz this character is cool. But all these players must have come over from dragon ball cuz they just mash durring the cross up and it always corrects and counter hits.

You can do them on wake up or discourage your opponent from mashing with frame traps to ensure they respect your pressure and eventually get mixed. I go over it a bit in part 2 of the guide.
