It's actually so wholesome that CF showed us this friendship between Jubei, Valkenhayn, and Hakumen. Like here the former two are determined to at the very least retrieve Hakumen's body, and in the main story Hakumen was like "you dont even have to ask me to save Jubei" (which is huge for a tsundere like him) Despite all the shit that went down, those three were true bros.

Interesting fact: Both Hakumen and Terumi really hate being inside the Susano'o Unit. Hakumen hates it because he feels the remains of Terumi inside of it and he said that he would love to give it back to him if were possible, but he no longer has a body. In Terumi's case he hates it because it's like being bounded to Amaterasu once again, Susano'o being originally an extension of herself.

@@akirathewildcard9625 Spoilers, I guess, and it'll be a long one, but let's go (and this is without details, as I don't remember them): Amatrasu, or the Amaterasu Unit, as it is generally called, in short, is an artificial mechanical god that controls the flow of time (among other things) in the Blazblue universe. The Amaterasu unit created many other gods to serve her, one of these was the Susanoo unit - that is, terumi, to serve her, but she cast him out for reasons that I don't recall. After this, Terumi then left/was expunged from his body, the susanoo unit itself, becoming a disembodied spirit (that would eventuallu possess hazama, but that's not important right now). This in turn, left the Susanoo unit vacant. To fight the black beast, Jin gave up his Original Body to "possess" the now emptied Susanoo Unit, becoming Hakumen, and losing his og body in the process. Now, why we have another Jin is complicated, but suffice it to say, all that happened to a Jin from the future who traveled back in time to the past before he himself was born and has been alive in the immortao Susanoo unit ever since. ....BlazBlue lore is kind of a mess. Also, I'm no expert, if someone is more knowledgeable than I, and wants to correct anything, please do.

@@akirathewildcard9625 Basically Hakumen is a version of Jin that fell into the Boundary. He got out but his body was severly damaged so Rachel proposed to him to get into the Susano'o unit. So he can't get out. Not sure how it works exactly but it is like his soul was transported into the Unit. Just like Trinity does with Jin at the end of Centralfiction. Amaterasu is Susanoo's sister. As for Amaterasu I mean the Master Unit. It is a being the can affect every single event that happens in the world to it's own will. Simply put, it is the "God" of the BlazBlue universe.

@@akirathewildcard9625 I'll make it simple. There are 2 versions of Jin, the current one which has normal body and the one from the past that inhabit Hakumen's. Simply Hakumen is another version of Jin thrown to the past but his body is dying so he inhabit the soulless vessel. Amaterasu is the god of Blazblue series, there are also other two which act as a shield (controlled by vampire at the end of video, Rachel) and a sword that was Susano'o/Terumi. For reasons unknown Terumi cast out of heaven and his original body (Hakumen but without soul). To sum it all up, because Susano'o/Terumi/Hazama was the right hand/sword of god, everything he did from the beginning of the story was to set himself "free". So, who's the antagonist and who's responsible for all of this ? Terumi, he's the main antagonist but doesn't necessarily responsible for all of this messed up timeline. It was humans. Humans experimenting by putting another "human" inside machine that controls time, even someone like Terumi acknowledge this.

I wish, but he literally picks his soul up and crushes it. In the Story, absolutely. He knew full well that Haz was planning on taking his power, but just said "lol, nope. Nice try though, Hazama. Anyway, I got what I need to get my proper body back, so it's been real, but this is over now. You're free now, so do whatever you wish, see ya." Literally probably the nicest Terumi has been towards ANYONE, barring perhaps Kazuma@@markandrew287

Everyone's going on about Relius but I think he's decently friendly to Hazama as well. Like, he's utterly ecstatic to Hazama like he's wanting his approval for how poweful he's gotten and once he's defeated him he's like "You were a great help to me so just rest, I got it all in the bag now."

to be fair it is his actual body that he tossed away since he needed to be to be free from his sisters control and the only way was to toss his body out and become the terumi persona, now since his existance is going away he needs his body back since it fixes that

@@monokomomo4977 iirc he tried to reclaim it way earlier in the story but when he did that's when Rachel took it before he could get it back, he only got it back now because he was getting desperate in his plans and had no other choice to get his original body back. Which is why he said "This is already the "worst" for me and you", to Ragna in the story

@@riotowa Indeed, Terumi got desperate and reclaiming his original body was a last resort effort that in the end backfired him. When he stabbed Hakumen with the Hihiirokane it seems that he just pushed Hakumen's soul aside and that's part of why he couldn't properly fuse with his body. Like it was too much of forceful fusion, it didn't help that Terumi was in his weakest state before doing so, having just a couple of days of existance before dissapearing. Thanks to that Ragna easily removed him from his vessel they were able to take him to a place outside of reason, where he finally could finish him off.
