The X Factor it's a masterpiece thanks to Blaze vocals as well! He lead the band with honor and performed very well as frontman! " give to caesar what is caesar's" we say in Italy. Up the Irons!!

I think it's great that Blaze is preforming the songs from Maiden's "Blaze era". I really like a lot of the songs that came from that era and because Maiden doesn't play them at the moment, it's great to go to a Blaze gig and hear them. If neither band would do those songs them it would be loss for the scene.

it was from the Metal Mania concert of 2007 in poland. Only a few songs from this performance made it onto The Metalmania 07 dvd , and the whole show was released as Blaze Bayley : Alive in Poland , but only on DVD. no cd yet.

yeah, I was there and they completly mess up this part. So for DVD it was cut away. They felt in a loop and couldn't get out. They have looked one for another trying find some solution :)- that was their first show.

@phili666 The rhythm part not the lead is the 2nd verse just a little bit slower without the little tidbit before starting it back up again, and its all the rhythm part just after the duel lead in "Phantom of the Opera" just before the last verse riff comes back in. But then again a lot of Maiden's material is recycled back in many songs hence their sound. I just happened to love their usage of Em, C, D over & over again, its easier to remember all their material as a Rhythm guitarist

I think you mean "is the dvd available in the US"? The answer is yes. You may have to order online though , or go to FYE and special order it through them. Either way , it's out there and you can get it. I got my copy , and it's excellent. Has a bonus music video on it for the song "Hollow Head"

Leandro Francisco Sempre achei isso tbm, mas oque aconteceu foi que o safado do Bruce ficou na merda na carreira solo, ai sobrou pro Blaze sair da banda. Na realidade Blaze foi usado pelo mesquinho pau no cu Steve harris. Blaze é melhor do que Bruce. Dave Mustaine é melhor do que James.

i know i read blaze's book he said he just couldn't get the timing right, they spent most of the time stopping and starting in rehearsals but they weren't allowed to play unless he drummed, he was the club owner's 18 year old son

Indeed it always seemed weird to me that this show was released at all with the drummer clearly being the weak link. Now that you mentioned that somehow he was included ''by force'' its somewhat more understeandable... And probably Blaze needed to release something anyway because at the time he was struggling to get his career back on track. After this one he returned with a killer album like The Man Who Would Not Die. Lucky us.

I always thought that Blaze really became an improvement for Maiden. Back with Bruce they have kept on piling up huge lives that are self-repeating, without any new performance element... except Bruce flattened voice. So much unrated remains Blaze. great voice. The band too delivered very good music.
