it would make sense why tommy and claude wasnt originally allowed to walk with a minigun or flame thrower, with a minigun its like holding a motorcycle in your hands and then theres the recoil of it when shoots the only thing i disagree with was the minigun not having manual aim since well it would be more easy to aim at stuff if your standing above them and not have the guns bullets just aim down. it makes the minigun pointless not being able to aim up or down which why i guess most console users would most likely pick the RPG or m60 as their heavy weapon. as for the flame thrower i can guess its because tommy has no suit on so if he moved he would be burned. using a flame thrower without a suit on is very dangerous to begin with so tommy has to stand still.

One thing I don't like is how they lazily put Claude GTA 3 model in GTA SA instead of improving his original model. The original model makes more sense because GTA SA supposed to take place 9 years before GTA 3.

Maybe they use the 3 Model as Placeholder, and tweak it in a future update, since you see the 3 Model is not properly fitting the Scene. Most likely they will de-age him, by taking the Cartoony look, and remove the beard, and smoothing his facial features. Atleast that was the original plan with SA Claude, but yea this is horrendous.

That’s what Claude was supposed to look like originally but the graphics at the time made it impossible. You could see most of the details on his action figure, where he actually looks like a Caucasian male instead of an asian. But I agree, he still looks kinda cartoonish

I play Vice City a lot. During daytime the classic lighting gives a good atmosphere. But from 8 pm untill 8 am i prefere the classic lihgting off. The sky is much better with the pink glow

You probably didn't notice it, but in GTA 3 they fixed the bracade blocking the way to Staunton Island. The first time i played DE I crashed into it because it was invisable. And the biggest improvement for me was the performance is 100% better after updating. I can't stand framerate drops.

Drinking animations, static store objects, and non-functional oil rigs were a real annoyance for me. If these small things are fixed, it’s a strong sign that the trilogy can deliver a solid gaming experience, because it likely means they’ve addressed most of the other issues as well. Although Claude's model in SA feels like a lazy choice, and the other peds could still use significant improvement...

And have GTA3 have features from VC and SA like jumping out of moving vehicles, police spikes, when going inside safe houses you see the interior from LCS. And add mission select/replay, blood toggle on/off similar to Mortal Kombat and Gears Of war, and front language toggle on/off from Gears of war, and custom soundtracks and just have cheats from the games just be actual gameplay features such as better driving handling as a gameplay feature in GTA3 and VC since SA has it.

@@FearlessRoss Now for swimming, I wouldn’t mind if they add a feature where if you can they on the ground you can just press a button similar to Saints row. But they need to add climbing from SA for that feature. The swimming may be just like VCS and RDR when you don’t go underwater. I also think GTA3 needs bikes but if spotted by police you get a wanted level because of lore reasons. And last, when busted or wasted, keep your weapons like in GTA4 and GTA5.

I liked the scene where we see Claude in San Andreas. But somehow that doesn't make sense because San Andreas takes place in 92 and GTA 3 takes place in 2001. So it can't be that Claude hasn't changed in 9 years. But what two versions failed to do (OG, Definitive Ed.) is that Catalina looks completely different than in GTA 3. She should look much younger. Even in the OG versions, Catalina looks older than in GTA 3. I mean, in GTA 3 (OG, Defintive) she looks much hotter than in San Andreas. Kind of an unnecessary mistake.

Bearboxes 🤣 still, even in the fixed version, it's funny how they still use the English spelling for "centre" instead of the American "center", but they do use the American spelling of "tires"

The fact that they took Claude's GTA 3 model & put it in SA really shows how crappy the SA character models look in comparison. His model is literally the most impressive lookin' thing across the entire trilogy, it makes you feel like TDE was meant to be more than what it turned out to be

At first it was nice they changed claudes model but now eh I think its a mistake. Like its nice but claude is supposed to be 11 years younger. Him looking like a kid makes sense in san andreas. All thry had to do was just make him look good

They need to unpatch the territory glitch that they patched in the definitive edition. You know how many memories I had as a child doing that glitch. Childhood ruin money not well spent come on Rockstar.

Do you mean the glitch that adds territories to the whole map or it's something else I don't know about. Personally I never did that. I just capture all the regular gang territories and call it done.

Don't let them fool you. They are only just fixing the games now because they don't want any more backlash from people, and they just want your money. They don't care about any of us. If they truly cared, then they wouldn't have released these games in such a broken state.
