The southeast wasn’t much better this week from my experience. Overall my issue here isn’t the rates. I’m getting decent rates most of the time. It’s all the sitting I’ve been doing after every load. It’s getting to the point where anything east of I-75 I’m hesitant about taking. The Midwest is here I’ve been doing my best at here recently but the damn sitting is killing me.

These auto shifting transmission trucks suck. I mean I get it there are those out there that are in trucking cause it’s auto. But if your transmission goes bad it’s gonna cost more to fix this than a manual. Plus I’ve done manual trucking and these autos and I truely believe the manual is safer it doesn’t shift gears cause it was programmed to like these autos do. I hate how my truck shifts into whatever gear some computer programmer thinks is the right gear based off if speed and rpms.

Fresh off TNT ... and I am quickly learning, Prime culture is all about load focus ... no empathy for truckers !! I'm sitting in Chicago since Friday without an AC and an APU issues !! Cannot fix it until Monday !!!! Two loads all week and the dispatch had the audacity to take the load away that is not due til Wednesday!!!
