These mini-series adventures are as fun as the original cartoon series, and 1000 times better than the crap the movie studios have produced. I'd love to see what you guys could do with a huge budget, more voice actors and plenty of time to write and produce a whole catalog of these adventures. I think Larry Hama would be proud of these...and I'd love to see a collaboration between him and real fans like GI Joburg, to finally produce the GIJoe movies the fans really want to see.
@gijoburg6 жыл бұрын
I'd say the pipe dream is to keep up a steady trickle of these series, build up our indie following to the point that one day, when GI Joe is hip with the kids again, and Hasbro rediscover that sacred toyline that built their mansions in the 1980s, someone in that boardroom name drops some of the content here on KZbin - what can we learn from FORMBX257; HOODED COBRA COMMANDER 788; GI JOBURG? One can only hope, right? And thank you for the compliment. Very heartwarming that this stuff has found an appreciative audience. YO JOE!
@thebluelibra56866 жыл бұрын
Good content made with real heart is a rare thing, and that's what's lacking in most of the reboots. As a kid, I had MOTU, TMNT, the Batman Animated Series, but GIJoe was always at the top of the list, and the most sacred to me...and as a teen and an adult, I cringed at the lack of quality in the original and reboot series and movies. I don't know that the 1980s magic can be reproduced in today's world, but Larry Hama's comics have always been the blueprint...with heart put into creating a movie or series, like the Netflix Daredevil and Punisher series, or what AMC studios has done with TWD, I think that could be the rebirth of GIJoe. The heart is with the fans and content creators like you guys and others, so someone in those boardrooms better damn well start dropping some names! Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to the rest of this series, and the next, and the next... YOJOE!
