In this video, we compared two ceiling fans to see the difference between BLDC fan and Normal fan. We took a BLDC fan with an induction fan and tested both toughly. We tested their power consumptions on different speeds and RPM. We tested them on Low and High Voltage supply too.

Very nice experiment and thanks for the elaborate set up to explain. In this you mentioned wattage of induction motor fan as 80 watts. For better understanding, please indicate wattage of bldc motor fan also.

bldc fans ka rpm itna kaam kyu hota hain mene renesa + liya abhi prr 1 & 2 ki speed to worst hai kuch lagta hi nhi 4& 5 speed fir bhi tohra hawa deta hai to kya mujhe mera renesa return kardena chaiye or ekk induction fan le lena chiaye

Great video. However a comparison chart of consumption would make this even better. If any body want to compare consumption then ... For both the fans at speed 2 , 190 rpm , at 230 volts.... Induction fan was consuming 30 watts whereas bldc was consuming around 10 watts .. so at speed 2 a normal fan consumes three times more electricity than a bldc fan. I think in any other case bldc will be at least twice efficient than normal fan. So yes , go ahead with bldc.
