Yes. The old type fans are easily serviceable whereas for BLDC, you have to reply on the brand service. I have had worst experience with Atomberg service.

I have bought Havells ambrose bldc fan. I has a Usha fan, I replaced it as airflow was not good. Unfortunately Havells bldc fan doesn’t have good airflow, it is worse than my Usha. I have normal Havells fans, their airflow is superb BLDC fans are not good if your looking for good airflow
