Not a secret, if you've been keeping up. But for 2 years they've been animated it, still animating it. This is slightly more than when it was airing, the amount of time and effort put in. So many people, myself included, expect the animation to be top quality. Also the scheduled time slot in Japan was chosen so they don't need to censor. Especially when Tite Kubo mentions he'll have direct involvement it may break away from the forced ending of the manga and follow more closely to the novels (which even cover the two year gap from the final arc and the final chapter).

wow, i cant believe you are looking at bleach. such an old anime but it is one of my favourite anime. I love swords, and i love the variety of swords and different powers in bleach world. btw bleach is release in 2004. the genre is shonen, just like naruto and dragonball. the twists and the fantasy story they created is great. i am invested from early on because its so interesting to learn more about their world. while yes there are "unrealistic" moments when it tries to connect with the real world living but its a fantasy story, so i can accept that. And yes i also know there's repetition formula of the arcs but i still enjoy the same formula and continue to see new growth in the characters. there are lots of fillers near the end, sadly, but its because the anime caught up with the manga at that time. they are ok-ish for single episodes. i still get to see my favourite characters in action, overcoming adversary lol. those fillers are unavailable in the manga. i also like it a lot because the script is good. the story, engaging, suspense and twists, the dialogues, voice acting are good. music and melody are very important for me and i think they got it right, its relevant to the scenes. i like that they cared. even the humor is something i noticed very distinctly because they inject humour quite relevantly at the right time and not cheesy or overly cutesy. the expressions and reactions of the characters are done well, even during the comical moments. I will always compare the humour in anime and i can't stand overly cute or too much of a particular behaviour that's makes me think "that is such an unnatural behaviour or reaction". i just cant take such irrelevant content seriously as an anime. it takes me out of the immersion. i think what they also did well is that they didnt overdo the characters, so i become invested in each character and i love their personalities that they have given them. so unique and cool, basically, you want to be like them, some of them. because confidence is sexy. altho in such story telling, u can say it is arrogance, but without it, how will you root for their downfall or success right? haha. and that's from good script writing. to get people invested in their lives and growth. Enjoy bros! i am delightful to see you considering / reacting to Bleach.

@@yujin1343 Neither Naruto nor One Piece seem like anything special in their first 3 episodes, you can't judge any long-running anime from its first couple of episodes. If you like action-based animes like Dragon Ball/Naruto/Fairy Tail/Black Clover, then you will most likely enjoy Bleach! Bleach is all about action and cool characters, so if you go into it expecting that, you will be pleased, but if you go expecting a complex plot like Death Note or unique world-building like One Piece, you will end up disappointed.

It got a lot of hate I think because it was comfortable with the formula it had established and the anime hiatus made a lot of people hindsight their way into excusing why it ended so abruptly. It's confirmed to be returning now though!

A lot of the openings were for filler arcs FYI so any OP you saw that has a new character and then you never see them in another one is probably a filler. (The beach OP for example). Also the last arc in the current anime wasn't the last one in the series, the anime just got cancelled so they had to end it there. It was basically a set up for the final arc. That final arc is finally getting animated though and it's supposed to air sometime in 2021.

lemme just tell you what bleach is about. Bleach is a story about Ichigo Kurosaki who is a high school boy who can see ghosts but his world gets changed when he meets rukia Kuchiki, she risks her life to save his family, rukia gives him the option to either die or take her power, he takes her power and he fights hollows who are spirits who have regrets on the world and they become evil, rukia gets taken by the shinigami (soul reaper) because she broke the law of giving her power to a human, Ichigo needs to go to the soul society to save rukia because he is thankful because she saved his family he eventually beats Byakuya Kuchiki who is Rukia's brother and Byakuya is thankful for Ichigo defeating him so he saved rukia but Sosuke Aizen, gin ichimaru, and Kaname tosen who are captains of the soul society betray the soul society, they go back to the world of the living AKA earth and the story continues to defeat Aizen summary of the first arc, you gotta watch the anime to find out the rest of the story!

Out of Bleach, Naruto and One Piece, Bleach always had some of the best art, character designs and transformations. They are all great but Bleach visuals wise was always top tier for me.
