@@Thevideogamejoker I thought Season 2 part 1 was the worst part so far (still good just a bit too stagnant in the story and repetitive). The end of both season 1 and 2 was absolutely amazing. But I kind of got annoyed at how many times we see Subaru getting fucked. obviously that’s the point of the anime but I feel like it went a bit too overboard. But it’s nice to see that development at the end of the season, now Subaru won’t die as much I think.

Re Zero is a character driven show, mostly psychological with some elements of horror, action, etc. S1》 Has three arcs, arc 1: ep 1-3, arc 2: Ep 4-11 and arc 3: Ep 12-25. Ova 1》 Fun shenanigans of events that happen between arc 2 and 3 (After ep 11, but before ep 12). Ova 2》A small backstory, i really recommend to watch this one after S1. S2 》All about arc 4. This arc it's like a mix of arc 2 and 3 while still being new.

There's pretty much 0 fan service in this show. One of the few anime out there that respects it's female characters as, well, characters lol. Both the girls and the guys in Re:Zero all have their own complex backstories, motivations and personalities. If I had to describe Re:Zero, it's like the Game Of Thrones of anime - mixed with groundhog day.

@@nobbler9165 I mean, one OVA is just a characters backstory. And the other is just a wholesome comedy episode of the show (which I guess in a show as depressing as Re:Zero counts as fan service). The only like fan service moment I can think of in the series is when Rem and Emilia are drunk. But even then it’s not super sexual, and more adorable. And not only does Subaru enjoy it, but Ram enjoys it too meaning it’s supposed to be more of a “funny cute drunk people” thing than “look at these sexy women” thing.

@Offisianシ yeah you didnt get to the best part. Later in season 1 is where it gets good and he gets good character development. Season 2 helps further that in going into his past and emilia's. Even more development. Season 1 is just the prologue of the story, and I heard later on it get's even more amazing. I think you should give it a go again because most people get put off by the royal selection part in like episode 12 or 13.

the thing with the fourth OP is that they sacrificed it's visuals in order to make most s2 p2 episodes 30 minutes long. They only showed the op like, twice, so they didn't put a lot of the budget behind it, which is the smart thing to do. We got more story development, so I can't be mad, and the song is fire enough on it's own.
