Something to keep in mind here. When Kenpachi was in Hueco Mundo he used two hands in one fight which turned his destructive power up several notches. He said he was taught that way of fighting from Yamamoto. Yamamoto is just swinging his sword with one hand and is still doing that much damage thanks to the Bankai. Now imagine the absolute destruction he could bring if he still had both hands and could pull off a proper sword swing.
