A few Corrections, sorry if it offends you, that is not my intention. Ichigo and his friends are still in the twenties, late twenties, but still twenties. Ichigo is 29 during this latest chapter, so he's getting close, but not 30 yet. Sajin Komamura is not dead, he's turned into a dog, and is basically the pet of Iba, but he's alive. And, Kubo did confirm in a Klub Outside question that Masira is not actually a lieutenant. Instead, Kensei allows her to believe she is as that makes her easier to deal with. Also, Renji was already the lieutenant of Squad 6 when he was introduced in the original series. Remember he was working under Byakuya. He'd only recently become lieutenant at that point, but he was the lieutenant notheless. BTW, I hope they adapt the Light Novels as not only are there tons of cool material to use for an Anime, but I'd love to see Tokinade animated. That dude is evil as hell.

I'm starting to think because of the events from the hell chapter movie and the events of the recentish chapter that during the movie ichigo became the king of hell (lucifer)unknowingly because of the fact he's dam near a soul king and by this happening when he has his son his child is what you may be expecting the anti christ which might explain his affinity to hell but this is just a theory
