Man I actually hate the text, like it's every 5 seconds and over the entire screen Also, I wish the movement was faster, and some cooler movement animations, maybe upscale the maps a bit if needed, they look so stiff when just moving out of neutral, in a universe where pretty much all characters are depicted as faster-than-eye-can-see fast lol Anyways, I don't even care at this point, at least we're getting what looks a somewhat decent Bleach game, Imma just settle with that

I actually like the comeback mechanics in this game if your better than your opponent you should be able to beat them, and if they comeback on you that’s means they locked in, and you choked

Not all characters are a "comeback mechanic" for the awakening. Aizen for Instance can Awaken 4 times, heals his HP and its bar based on when he does it, he goes through 3 of his forms automatically, even interrupting your moves or taking 0 damage if its time and he is mid ultimate. Best example Japanese testers have stated it that Ulquirroa Ressurection Ultimate does 5 bars, Aizen can only lose 2 at a time max and then he transforms, and if he is beating the hell out of you, he will transform anyway, they compared Aizen to using One Punch man in that bad arena fighter game of One Punch Man

Best thing about the game is all Ultimate moves are basically finishers. You can't just randomly throw an Ultimate... they only are usable during that NOW OR NEVER! phase when your opponent is in red life. This guarantees they will always have a huge impact when seen instead of being able to whiff.

4:17 I gotchu. TL;DR, they are stocks like you say they are. There's a lil more to it tho and I'm gonna try my best to explain. The numbers at the top are the "Konpaku"/Souls of the fighters. The bars right under it show how many stocks they have left. The orange/yellow ones show the maximum amount a player could take off at a time. That's why the amount of orange bars change over the course of the fight. The red numbers after the Soul Destruction moves show how many that were taken off (okay I see you figured that out at 8:04 mb). The amount of bars taken off at a time can change depending on the conditions: Landing that big cinematic move at the end gives you 2 points. +1 if you get the health bar to 0 before you use it, causing a "Soul Break". +1 each awakening (permanent transformation btw). +1 if you reached "Sublimation". Some characters have character-specific boosts (like Ichigo summoning old man Zangetsu at 0:59. Look at Ulquiorra's orange bars when he does)

It looks cool but absolutely also looks a bit slow and tedious. 9 stocks is crazy and the only way to snatch multiple is to use specials. Based on the gameplay you're trying to get a stock as low as possible before using that but sword play is pretty slow. Would hope they increase the damage of regular attacks
