I always wondered why ichigo had this insane powerup back in the aizen fight, the final getsuga tensho. and it was his father who KNEW he could do this. I think the reason the Shiba clan was the center of the original noble clans is because of this family ability that they pass down. think about it, Ichigo learns this ability and is able to dominate a true ascended being. like he went from barely being able to beat the 4th strognest arrancar and basically getting slapped around by Gin to beating Aizen within an inch of his life. the final getsuga tensho is the ULTIMATE ability of all shinigami, it allows them to temporarily surpass even someone on level with the soul king in power. This is why the Shiba clan is so important. this ability.

Lets be real, you dont get to do that by just "listening". Its heavily implied since white mentioned the difference between a King and his Horse. One of them is supposed to be the master and white was basically telling him to "TAKE OVER". The very best out of universe example I can give you is the relationship between Link and the Master Sword in Legend of Zelda. Its not yours until you surpass a set of ordeals and trials. Be it obtaining enough "hearts" in BOTW or getting the 3 pendants in ALttP.

Ichigo would’ve been leagues stronger if he tried to better understand white, not knowing that zangetsu wasn’t anywhere near complete and just a facade that yhwach personified within him. Tbf the vizards didn’t give him any info on how to deal with white in the best possible way because ichigo isn’t a vizard, he’s ichigo. Nobody would’ve been able to help him as well as himself because nobody is like him, not even the soul king. Tbf not a lot would change besides him having a lot higher power but possibly being used by zangetsu as he is partially hollow and isn’t the same as a traditional zanpakuto. But beyond that, had he tried things that white had told him while being watched by ppl like urahara or the vizards, he’d definitely have gotten a larger strength increase way earlier on and could be even stronger than he is currently. Technically all Quincy are "children" of Yhwch, because of how the Quincy race was created by him splitting his soul, It doesn't mean he's directly a blood descendant. It also doesn't make him a cousin or related to Ishida. Their connection is because Ryuken Ishida and Masaki Kurosaki were originally arranged to be married because they were both pureblood Quincy (they could trace a direct line of descent from the ancestor who received a fragment of Yhwch's soul in ancient times). When Masaki was attacked by White, her soul was tainted, then when she is fighting grand fisher she is killed because Yhwch begins awakening and uses Auswahlen and takes back power from all Quincy who he deems to be "impure" (this includes Uryuu Ishida's mother, Kanae Katagiri who was a mixed blood Quincy who had one mundane parent and one quincy parent)

Because it feels like you are making some mistakes! Ichigo is "just" a child of a Soul Reaper and a Quincy. You need to understand the three realms in order to get you crazy bloodline thingy right! There is the human world, the Soul Society and the Huaco Mundo, the world of the hollows. The Soul King, which has actually a fuck tone of power but is inpractical of using it, has one job: keeping the balance between the amount of souls in the Soul Society and the hollows realm. To perform this hugh task, he lost the ability to walk, to talk, to fight and his will. Before he decided to do that, he formed the squad 0 and made striked rules on how they should protect him and not the realms! Thats why btw, the squad 0 members didnt interfere on any event sofar. The Quincys on the other hand are humans, which have the ability to hunt down and KILL hollows. Which is against the way the shinigamis are dealing with them. Since the shinigamis protect the Soul Society there also have to purify a hollowed soul. Since this behavior of the Quincys is creating an inbalanced wolrd, where more and more hollows are crawling up to the human world to gain power, the level of souls began to shift. So the Soul Society tried to convince Yhwach to stop that and since he refused he draged war 1000 years ago. The Leader of the SC manage to deal with him and sealed him away, since he couldnt kill him. So the were forced to hide in the shadow realm between the real world and SC. The Quincys have a stricked bloodline-based rulership. simualar to the middle age. Ichigos mom wasnt in the royal bloodline but she still has the quincy powers. The Quincys-Details arent much of an importance here. Ichigos mom was attacked by White Noise, the experiment of Aizen to get one step closer to become the Soul King. Ichigos Dad was on duty in the real world due to Aizens actions. He saw Ichigos Mom being attacked by White and they both managed to "kill" her at the end.Which ended up "infacting" her. Yes, White is female. The rest was sofar accurate. But ... Fullbringer is no bloodline!!! Its just a group of humans achieving powers simular to Soul Reaper - thats it. Oh and ever wondered why Ichigo is using Getsuga Tensho? Its a "gift" from his fathers bloodline - its his dads skill! How do you explain Ichigos zanpakuto? Well, since he already was born with White Noise his "real" Zanpakuto was never giving to him. You know the creator of all Zanpakutos from Squad 0? Yea, this mofo accepted White Noise as Ichigos Zanpakuto and didnt knew Yhwach taking her place in form of black zangetsu. Troughout the series he gave a lot of hints that Ichigos real power is way beyond the Soul Reaper Powers he gained.. Since Yhwach watched Ichigos development troughout the series, he scaled him for his plan to fight back as the biggest threat! Ichigo posses a lot of powers which make him strong af, but he still has only 2 bloodline running in his vaines! :D

If you consider everything contributing to ichigo’s power, it was both repressed by his dad and his inner Quincy power early on. His power was absurd from the start, with a blade larger than any soul reaper in history.
