Yhwach was uniting the Quincy clans before attacking the Soul Society. They mentioned it before, but this our first time seeing what it looked like. Yhwach definitely got a bunch of the quincies that were following him wiped out during his first invasion of Soul Society 1000 years ago. The quincy genocide from 200 years ago is a separate incident where quincies were destroying hollow souls instead of purifying them so the soul reapers wiped them out.

@ That’s what he was doing though. Making all the quincies join him and killing the ones that didn’t or were too weak. Not saying what he did was good.

To an extent, it should be lol 😂… if people don’t want to join ur crusade, you shouldn’t go around trying to force those people to join or simply leave them alone and move on. Yhwach knew Bazz B hated him to the core and still allowed him to join their ranks. (I guess because he had the Almighty and he saw the future, he looked at him as fodder or someone who couldn’t do anything to him)

Don’t say all the races lol 😂…. The humans don’t have spiritual pressure unless they are a special case and Yhwach is a special case.

Also the soul reapers definitely wiped out all the Quincy’s, mayuri had quincy’s kill they quincy kids that’s why uryu hates him so much

In the last cour, Ywatch gave Uryu along with the other Stern the powers of the quincies when they fought squad zero. That's why they got beat up by Squad zero until he revived them lol. It kind of explains why Uryu got so strong so quick.

That is not an explanation in of itself alone. Uryu hadn't even died to be revived but he did get boosted by the auswhalen probably. They were fighting inside a cage depriving reishi around them (bad for quincies). Also uryu who was called a genius by Mayuri back in ss arc got to train with other quincies(for his first time excluding souken) in the same time Ichigo trained in the royal palace. We just don't see him training since they not the main character or on his side
