The director did that to give us a sense of "the battles are happening in the same time" because it's more realistic than one battle after another

We know the fights are happening at the same time in the manga too, it's just that we the readers get to see it full in order. From a story structure sense it feels better to get the whole thing at once.

The colors for the bankai is to mimic japanese theatre I see images on X about it

That makes sense actually, I wonder if its for stage lights or background. That said, the line Kyouraku says to Lille still doesn't fit with that color lol
