This further highlights the differences of Lille and Shunsui. The latter acts laidback, comical, and even has children’s games as his base Zanpakuto power. However, this hides a mature pragmatism, seriousness, and a very foreboding adult drama as a Bankai. He also has introspection, guilt, and responsibility as an adult. Lille on the surface, seems like the most mature of the Elite Guard as a no-nonsense sniper with a deep voice. But the further he transforms, the more he reveals how childish he truly is with his narrow-minded zealotry, he sounds like a high-pitched child at the pinnacle of his power, and he only acts mature as he views himself as the ace of the group like a teachers pet to Yhwach.

Eh I kinda disagree with this analysis. Yes Lille the further he transforms is a lot more zealous but I wouldn't say he's childish, he's still the same no nonsense character he was even before he transforms, that's why Lille still kept his guard up even while underestimating Nanao. But of course he lost because he wasn't fully aware of the implication of the shinken hyakkoken reflecting God's power. Kind of funny because if anybody else was in that situation they would've gotten annihilated by Lille lmao

I love how they first showed Nanao being so Loyal towards Shunsui in the soul society arc that she was willing to stand by his side when Shunsui and Ukitake were about to fight Head captain Yamamoto that his spiritual causes her to tweak out and throw up just being under his gaze that Shunsui had to be the wall to separate the feeling and calming her down and taking her to safety. Up to this point she wanted to be the Wall for Shunsui when he started to feel defeated but just like he did for her she become that wall to calm him down and wanted him to feel safe with her around which encouraged him to stand up and remember the promise he made towards his brother and sister in law so Nanao can step out of his shadow and be his light instead.

It’s like people ain’t thinking beyond what they see and not adding this fight into the grand context of bleach universe. We literally are having a celestial civil war and metaphysical battle between Shingami and Quincy who seem far more heavenly then the Shinigami with forms that stand out more as angels in old texts whilst the Shinigami live in dark and shadows. The Quincy and Shingami are like a Yin Yang but it is clear the Quincy are far more higher beings and heirs to Soul King which is why Yhwach is so furious with his father and why he sided with them but the whole of Soul Society was built on top of Soul King and the Quincy. The Sacred Treasure likely are from the primordial times and we don’t know if more beings existed that were like Soul King, was he the only one that existed or did he beat others? Other beings? Her sword counters Lille perfectly cus it is clearly a tool designed to kill beings like him so it highly significant clue.

Shinken Hakkyoken was made from SK's corneas, I'm pretty sure about it from the latest episode. - It has 4 mirrors on both sides, resemble to his almighty. - The same rainbow refraction colors. - Main function of cornea is to passes the light through the eye and refract the lights itself This raise the question if it's true some part of him could've been made into artifacts for nobles to protect, this might include Enra Kyoten and some more great noble clan inherited item or weapons to be the bigger parts of him. This as well give us an answer why SK's current irises looks nothing like in the beginning of episode 28th.

Yes. It’s theorized that this was the sword the ancestors of the noble house used to disemember the soul king. Hasnt been confirmed sadly but it makes too much sense

This was awesome for me. I’ll be interested in how it’s received cus Owl Form has always been a debate in OG but this felt like they perfected the weirdness and it really got across how Lille is a much higher being. It also felt so damn Elden Ring 😂

I have one question: Is that the sword that cut up the soul king. I mean, her family should be the ones that kill the soul king. They have a curse feel like a huge punishment, and the fact they killed her mother for losing the sword makes you wonder if that sword is the one that cut the soul king into pieces. I mean, the sword is meant to kill gods and the soul king a god like a person.

You only told when ep #27 dropped on Oct 5 that Cour 3 will have 14 episodes because ep 27 was already animated in cour 2 but the studio didn't release it they want to end cour 2 on a cliffhanger thus Peirrot Films started their animation from ep 28

I feel like Nanao's Shinken Hakkyoken feels like an asspull because of cultural differences. As far as I know, her surname is a reference to Ise shrine en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ise_Shrine Which is supposed to contain a holy mirror en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yata_no_Kagami So for Japanese readers it might feel like a British story with a character with the surname Pendragon; most British readers would probably guess at a link to King Arthur So if that character ended up being decended from a line of kings and getting a holy sword we'd just go "oh so it's Excalibur" and not think about it too much.
