The old one has just blue-ish theme but in remake they're using diffrent colours like.... 0:10 yellow-ish 0:26, 0:31 green, yellow 0:35, 1:13blue-ish as well 1:00 black and white look so good 1:15 pink looks so good 1:55 ohh this black and green looks so good 2:01 Orenge theme look good 2:13 Orenge + blue 👍👍👍 2:15 Purple 😍 3:00, 3:07, 3:11, 3:21 this looks way batter then the original one. 🤧🤧🤧

I appreciate both versions, with each having its strengths. While I enjoy certain aspects of the new animation, I do miss the portrayal of Spiritual Pressure from the older one. It was a manga element that added a unique visual flair to the anime.

I miss the more fluid animations of the old style. There they'd animate flash step, more mundane movements during fights and add minor details like how there is a smoke trail following VL Ichigo's sword when he recalls it into his hand. In TYBW they use way more jump-cuts sadly, but at least the visuals and SFX are prettier,

If many of you might have noticed in the old animations, the soul state and normal state of anyone has a different atmosphere. Like Rukia and Ichigo in Soul state, they focused more on the characters like portrait shots and made backgrounds more bluish blur and enhanced the whites on the characters. Also, I'm afraid how are they going to portray the soul pressures, they are like literally the Soul of the anime. I liked the old one more than the remake.

honestly, both are great but it all matters what vibe of the anime you like nire. The OG one gives you the mystery and horror vibe to it. Meanwhile, you got the morden day, which is more "epic" look kinda. So there isn't better, it's all about what you like more in my opnion

The new adaptation looks great, but why do the creators love black and white movies so much? In each episode there is a scene that consists entirely of one color, its shades and characters that do not stand out much against the background. It's stylish for the first two episodes, then you get bored of it

which is later Kubo adapted character design in anime to the manga. You can point out overall designs (i.e. the hair mostly in the front of ears in the beginning, later behind ears, more expressive eyes's design, body proportion etc)

Honestly, overall I still like the OG better. Especially around the arrancar arc, there is clearly some better detail work done in the original that I don't think needs to be reworked. Older arcs have a charm to it as well with the art style matching the innocence and age of the characters. I think one of the things that makes Bleach special is that art progression over the course of the series evolving.

The technical animation is in most places is far better - more detail and in some scenes fixed what was clearly rushed or possibly shots meant for a few frames that stand out due to lower quality (I forget the technical term from animation class). Plus it's nice to see stuff more in the current style where it would have better continuity in an actual remake. However it has 3 major problems - albeit 2 are related. The first is the actual choices of colours and recoloring of some things - such as Ichigo vs Kenpachi instead of it being blue vs yellow it's both yellow, making the sky weird shades of yellow and orange over some really great darks and blues, etc. The related issue is the overall Zack Snyder drained of colour/sepia filter/whatever it is look a lot of the scenes have. The third that's fully seperate is that honestly - the framing, look, etc of a lot of the shots is significantly weaker - an issue seen in the remake of Rouroni Kenshin and not sure if it's a tech issue or a skill issue at this point as it seems to pop up more and more. I'd say 2:15 is one of the best examples - the original shot, though lower quality is better as an overall shot, and would be amazing in the new style and all. Some shots are more generic - basic 90 degree ones from the cameras instead of sometimes other angles, other shots are actually the opposite of the first I mention where they go for a wider shot when it worked better close and even a couple that were flat to the camera where changing the angle actually makes them not as great.

I don't like today's animation... Everything is glowing, the lightning work just doesn't feels right. Faces are are glowing like the characters have put too much cream on their face... The shadowing isn't as good as the old stuff. And the colors are just too much... I am so glad the Bleach anime was made in a time when animation was good. And the music of the New anime is so... Well... If there wasn't any soundtrack it would be the same in my ear. I miss old Bleach animation and music
