Shaq Donates Updated Delivery Van And $15K To Meals On Wheels Atlanta

“Meals on Wheels Atlanta” has been vital in helping provide hundreds of thousands of meals to the senior community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To say thank you, SHAQ and @thegeneralauto surprised MOWA with delivery van updates and $15K in relief funds to help them with deliveries 🙏

That's awesome. Here where we live there's an organization called VISTE, Volunteers In Service To the Elderly. It's basically a food pantry for those seniors who can get there and pick up groceries, but for those who are unable, volunteers like my wife and I go there, load up a bunch of groceries, and deliver them to seniors who are assigned to us. We've been doing that for about three years now, same seniors, and it's a real joy to see them every month. We sadly just lost one this past month, Miss Paris who was 96 years old, but I'm sure we'll pick up another deserving senior and we'll get to know them and love them too. Please help the seniors in your community any way you can. Mow their lawn, do their shopping, run some errands, or just stop by for a chat. You'll be surprised how good it makes you feel.

What disappoints me is that in the 21st Century in the Richest Country in the world, people need charity to survive. America, this is what you get for promoting Individuals over Communities.
