No one talks about how Curry is so good with virtual no offensive lateral movement. He can’t change directions or stop and go as much as the average PG because of his ankles, but that doesn’t stop him because his skill level is so high. He is up there with Kobe when it comes to skill level. Kobe wasn’t the fastest and he couldn’t jump the highest, but his skill was so unmatched, like Curry now

Don't think its his ankles which hes pretty much fixed as much as his lack of explosiveness, evident by how he can barely dunk. But like you said superior skill and very good balance, but id say kobe was more athletic and curry more skilled. Kobe was very skilled for his size too but when he was young he was a hell of an athlete. Kobe could move laterally well which helped him be a great defender.

Curry is a lot faster than people give him credit for. Yeah he isn't westbrook or drose in their primes, but if you watch him he's able to get by defenders at will, he even beat jaylen brown off the dribble in this video
