Before we all go to bed, let’s not forget that the warriors were poised to win this game. Then three consecutive empty possessions on O doomed their chances. Yeah that foul on kuminga was unwarranted, but it never should have gotten to that point. One more bucket would have sealed Houston’s fate. Poor coaching and lack of execution caused this loss. I hope everyone remembers that the warriors were in the driver seat and they didn’t close the deal. It was their fault, not the refs.

you are correct in that the Dubs made several mistakes; Curry instead of taking that 3 should have tried to get a foul call on last possession, then on rebound GP2 should have held onto the ball. On the foul Kerr should have challenged the bad call at the end (although not sure if he could have). but you are also wrong as the Ref was wrong for making the call when he didn't when FVV fell on top of GP2 just a couple seconds before.

Kuminga clearly fouled Green with 3.5 seconds left; you are crazy if you don't think this is a foul. The NBA validated this in their final two minute report. I would say you would have a case that Payton was possibly fouled a few seconds beforehand, but the NBA said this in-game no-call was also correct.

Given how the game was being officiated up to that point, basically like a Playoff game w/ A ton of uncalled physical plays on both sides, to suddenly switch it up and call a ticky tack foul on Kuminga is a just horrible. But believe what you want to believe, it's over now. Rockets got over on the dubs in this one.

The way I timed it watching the replay, the refs at the end gave the Warriors 6.08 seconds to get the ball in. Should have be Rockets ball after the 5 second inbound violation. Hard to call that stuff in the heat of the moment. Warriors turned it over 3 times in the last few minutes.. no one else to blame but themselves.

There is a 3.5-second clock differential between the shot clock and the game clock, but Curry shot it with 10 seconds left. So in a game where Curry is held on every possession and brutal incidental contact occurs every other play, the officials decide the game with an obvious jump ball call. Warriors made mistakes but holding prevents making plays. Typical NBA officiating. Hommers rule.
