Bleaching My Roots | Tone With Fanola No Orange Shampoo

It's time for me to bleach these roots! In this video I'll be testing out the Fanola No Orange and No Yellow Shampoo to tone my roots. Watch to see if it works!

I’d advise using toners always! Toners are your bleached hairs best friend. Also if you're not using a bleach with a bonding agent (like Schwarzkopf blondme) then you need to use Olaplex to protect your hair from damage and breakage. Also hit those patchy areas towards the end of the bleaching process with 15/20 vol developer mixed with your bleach for 10 minutes then rinse. Those shampoos are great but they aren’t a substitute for proper bleaching and toning. Bleach, tone, and then use the shampoo and also a good deep conditioner.

I'm very confused. I had read to first use the No Yellow ( purple) followed by the No Orange (blue) you did yours the other way around and it looks great

I feel like starting off with the no orange makes sense because the roots would be more yellow but on the orangey side and then once its been cooled down its more yellow so I would use the no yellow, lol thats how it made sense in my head.

I have a problem not getting to a white blonde with my highlights. We usually use fanola low yellow. Should we try toning with no orange to get to that whiter blonde? My hair pulls golden big time. Thank you

I love ion bleach. It leave my hair soft and shiny. Wella bleach dried and fried my hair out! I had to leave a protein mask on for a few hours to get it soft and shiny again.

What if you use the no orange mask, with the shampoo? Would that help the spots the shampoos did not get?

I just lifted my roots and am left with a light orangey yellow now😕 I tried a purple shampoo and purple toning conditioner and it didn’t seem to do much. I have the Fanola no orange shampoo but am so scared to try it bc I don’t want to end up with my hair turning green... I don’t know what to do.

sounds like you might need to bleach your roots one more time so that you can get it to a slightly lighter yellow and then you can tone it with a purple shampoo.

The lighting powder? You should be able to find it on the Sally Beauty website if you search Ion Powder Lightener

No she doesn’t, she’s about a level 7 naturally as you can see by her roots which is a dark blonde.

@@AC-hr2du 💯 I’m naturally 6ish and my roots look very dark when they come in. It’s just the contrast bc any roots coming in, even the slightest shade darker than *white*, is going to look dark. Doesn’t mean we’re not natural blondes, just not natural platinum white blondes…there’s a big difference 😉
