​@@dy4pi2 In the depths, between the black desert and the labyrinth (one of the end-of-game areas called ANOMALY.) I think you have to beat the previous bosses first to access it. There is a place with NPC, without risk and the echo is not hidden.

Very useful guide! Playing on ps5, the Uranopolis Echo was not in the same spot as in your video and I still haven’t located it. Everything else is still in the same spot it seems. Thanks for the guide!

Just got this and loving it on Xbox. This is one of the closest feels to dark souls from a souls like for me. I'm not saying I haven't played any better games just that this one gives me the dark souls 1 vibes

Honestly, if they went into Early Access last March instead of Full Release, I think it could have picked up momentum. It's legitimately a different feeling game nowadays. Made a bad first impression, though. Thanks!

@@musclemommyenjoyer They've nerfed the player pretty substantially in the last few days. Made it so you have to build "correctly" and have up-to-date gear with good crystals embedded. I'm not for the change. And I'm hesitant to give too specific of a recommendation cause they are rebalancing heavily all the time. But what are you using?

I dont think the handler echos work like this. They actually do show up in those locations, but they are limited, eg you can pick up only one of several, the others get removed once you pick one up. I saved this from Discord, not sure wether it is absolutely correct: Echo 1 - Konrad Echo 2 = Machinarium/Upper Blocks/Rain District Echo 3 = Asylum/ Uranopolis Echo 4 = Desert Mirage / Ghosttown Echo 5= Desert after Worlord Edit: Amazing video tho!

It seems, that they put a nasty sandworm in the desert before the stairs..at the moment i will grabbed by it every time and eaten up...:( Ah, ok, i had to defeat the wormlord in the pasrt of the desert where the desert mirage is first, then the worm before the stairs in the other part of the desert is gone!i didn't get that before.

So, I've been doing most of the playthrough on my own and I've managed to get 4 echoes from various locations (don't remember which) and I've also killed Wormlord. Is the 5th echo only available after the 2 recalibrations? Would just killing Wormlord not suffice?

You are correct. Have to recalibrate twice to get to that one. Unless you glitch/sequence break.

@@Ghostzapper Maybe perhaps this info is outdated, or maybe I sequence broke, but I was able to just walk to the temple and pick up the echo right after killing Wormlord. Didn't need recalibration.

@@honeyalmondfritters I got confused, should have read your comment twice. The 5th echo is available after wormlord (or skipping), the way out of that area is blocked off. My apologies, I haven't opened the game in over a year. And I misremembered.

Glad it was useful! I wish the game had more subtle nudges to get you to go to new areas. I had so much frustration from finding paths back to places I'd already been. Figured a lot of people were doing the same. Good luck!

​@@Ghostzapper you said it. - Like I still don't know how agility works - the npc's have less agency than the dark souls ones, or I just still havent figured out what the quests are. - currently at the magister boss, or what the iron face priest is supposed to be. like.... bingflop and dead. It's more punnishing than sekiro. - Don't know what entropy is, but getting killed by the red guys means an increase in entropy. like... will i be able to cleanse it, or is this a perma death? - resources for gems and potions are too hard to farm :S especially when you wipe at a boss for like hours straight (undergearing is a bitch and stubborness is a twat)

That very well may be a bug. BUT also maybe what you guessed as well. The coding dev, Roia, has been constantly changing things since release, working like a madman. Unfortunately, I haven't vibed with a lot of his preferred changes, so I haven't kept up with the game. All that to say, I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended. Sorry!

I literally quit this game because of the jump onto the flying dragon in Uranopolis, lots of failed attempts and the few times I made it I either fell through it after landing or I rebounded off it like a ping pong. So disappointing.

They've made the game harder over time, too. The flying dragon used to come closer to the pillar. But they want you to cling to the side. Which would be cool and all. Except that makes getting off at the top an absolute chore, if it doesn't bug out and leave you clinging onto nothing, but stuck mid air... Even if you are able to stick the landing. Tragic.

@@jnoble32000 Yes. Jump to the second tower, run all the way up to the bridge and drop off from there. Fall damage doesn't exist here. Classic game breaking it's own rules for progress.

I'm glad I was forced to play the game on my own because no one was actually helpful but shit I just want my last echo so I can get MK5
