So close. Disappointing for Australia to let down such a good half time lead, but great to see them being competitive again. Hopefully they can starting building consistency soon. They've shown how good they can be.

From a South African perspective, I think Australia are still going to surprise friend and foe at the world cup. And New Zealand can realistically field up to three brilliant sides before they field a "B" side. This was a great game of rugby to watch today.

It was a dead rubber from the point of view of the Bledisloe Cup and The Rugby Championship and the All Blacks were trying out some debutants and new combinations. Good to see that a relatively untested team was still good enough to get themselves out of the trouble that they found themselves in.

@@alhOOO2O And I am not sure why you think insulting me is going to win the argument. No technically you could not argue that any ball you manage to get fingers on you have a chance of catching, and you know that; but a ball that you get fingers on and then miss the regather by a couple of inches and then only because the ball is lower than your hands, not further away - well, yes, you have a far better chance of regathering that. Also the law does not say that there is a responsibility on the defensive player to actually catch the ball if there is such a big overlap.

Pure copium. You’ve been talking kak on every SA rugby channel for weeks after a rusty Springboks lost to the ABs, but now you scrape a win against the worst Wallabies side in history and it’s all sunshine? A third-string Springboks put 30 points on this Wallabies side. Why couldn’t you do the same with Savea, Jordan, Retallick, Whitelock, Cane, Mo’unga, McKenzie, Smith, Williams, et al. Doesn’t sound like a “second-string” team to me.

@@DavyBrando but your A side lost to NZ and your B side were lucky to beat Argentina so its not kak its fact SA are overhyped and overrated.Btw you're missing the point only 3 first choice players in the starting lineup even SA have had more first choice players starting for them in their B side

@@Trajan2401 So let’s get this straight: we can forgive NZ for scraping a win against the worst Wallabies side in history because of “rust” (the majority of whom have actually played in the last few weeks and are clearly not rusty), but we can’t do the same for South Africa whose entire A team hadn’t played together in nearly 7 months before they played the ABs? Rules for thee and not for me.

@@DavyBrando the difference is NZ deserved to win SA only won because Argentina missed like 10 points from kicks
