Matt, you rightly said you would add a roof bar to stop a jutting rock coming in should you roll on to the roof, but by only putting one diagonal bar across each side of the jeep you have left massive gaps were a jutting rock could potentially enter the driver or passenger space should the car fall on its side.

I am goin to guess the previous Jeep owner/s didn't have a tube bender nor the funds to buy DOM tube. They did have a pipe bender or bought one from HF and either had a surplus of pipe laying around or the funds to buy it. They did in fact used what they had or could afford.

I notice American YT'ers rarely use safety gear. Ear protection eye protection. None vent their exhaust. Fuel contains radioactive particles. Ask any well driller what happens with drill socks. Most is taken out during refining but not all. You roll eyes at no gloves but you don't wear hearing protection. You don't want exhaust contained and be breathing it. I'm 50 Lung issues suck.
