Learn how to ONLY render the frames from blender which actually have changes (keyframes), so redundant frames are not rendered. Then bring that sequence of frames (which obviously are NOT numbered sequentially b/c redundant frames have been left out) into krita exactly as they are in blender.
STEPS :
1. go here and download a version of loom that is right for your version of blender : github.com/p2o...
2. drop loom.py into your blender scripts / addons folder
3. In blender, edit / preferences / addons / search for loom and activate it
USAGE
4. In blender, go to the timeline and select the keyframes you want to render
5. The timeline now has a little clapperboard icon (Loom options) - select Render Selected Keyframes
6. Optionally render in the background with a commandline popup window
7. In krita, File / Import animation frames
8. Browse to the folder with your rendered images
9. select all to import them
10. Click Add Hold Frames Automatically and optionally Begin Frames from index 0 (probably should b/c by default blender starts naming at 0 as well
Loom has other capabilities but this workflow is very smooth, fast and seems to work perfectly.
