I really liked the tutorial but i think when you call it beginner tutorial maybe consider showing the shortcuts (like shift + z or whatever) next time. Sometimes it's really hard to follow when you're that fast.

For scaling you can click s key and drag the mouse, left click to end. Similarly click r key and drag the mouse for rotating, left click to end. For modifying the shapes, enable proportional editing from 3D view header. And then move the vertices around with mouse. With lot of practice, it becomes easy.

@RobertoLongobardi
@RobertoLongobardi 2 жыл бұрын
@@IdOnThAvEaUsE69 If you want to move river then yes, you still need the object. For the boolean condition, instead, as soon as you "Apply" the transformation (as described in the video), it actually modifies the terrain object, so you don't need the object anymore. By the way, once you have applied the transformation, you won't be able to move the river anymore, because the terrain is now actually carved with the river.

I totally agree here. It's distracting, and to me puts unnecessary strain on your computer for no reason. Modeling in just material preview is just easier to look at for sure, and for newcomers to blender who DON'T have a super high end GPU, it won't cause them to have crazy lag while editing and wondering what's up when all they're doing is following a tutorial lol
