Actually, I don't think it's that far off. Technology has developed exponentially. That means something like a modern-day supercomputer (that could run something way more complicated than things like these in real time) could one day fit in your pocket.

Excellent modelling. A fully syndetic structure, that honestly replicates possible natural collapse scenarios.
@sixmagpies9 жыл бұрын
My pleasure. KZbin is saturated with what I suspect are cynically misleading asyndetic piles of block being collapsed. It would rather interesting to see an honestly syndetic tall structure. preferably with a central vertical core etc. as per the twin towers, to demonstrate if it's even possible for the top element to drive down through the rest. So far nobody, and no other structure, in history has been able to replicate that event. Can the top 15%, even if dropped upon a syndetic structure destroy the rest?
@JoarMusic9 жыл бұрын
+sixmagpies Are you a twin tower physics denier? Twin tower physics is a natural physics law. Natural physics laws cannot be denied. Booyah!...
@jonahmoran37513 жыл бұрын
@@sixmagpies lmao dude so your telling me that a one story steel building can hold the weight of the titanic vertically? I think not. Also a collapse can’t deny laws of physics. Also look at San Paulo Brazil the steel building fire That caused to collapse it looked like it went down. Also south tower collapsed first because there was more weight pressing the crash zone because of more floors above. Also when the parts holding the building up fail. Also when it fell the floor that got hit added even more weight to the floor below and then that floor that gets hit does the same and repeat until you reach the bottom. The further it got down the less likely that it would tip over. Also the steel still supporting the structure was weakened by fire as it loses half strength at 600 c
@jonahmoran37513 жыл бұрын
@@sixmagpies it can handle the titanic in static motion when it’s structure support isn’t compromised. But when it’s compromised then when it fails the weight of the titanic becomes dynamic moving non static. Then the weight crushes the floor below it and that floor crushes the floor below it and so on until it reaches the bottom
@sixmagpies3 жыл бұрын
@@jonahmoran3751 It is self-evident from this attempt at an explanation that the poster's understanding of the physics involved in structural dynamics is incomplete, and most particularly so in the last line which describes the quite commonly known 'pancake collapse'. Although this mechanism was posited at the time of the event, and even for some weeks afterwards, and by various government bodies as well as the media, it was quickly pointed out, and then demonstrably explained, by half a dozen of us in the field of forensic incident reporting that, quite self-evidently, 'pancaking' could not possibly have been the mechanism involved. Government narratives have offered only 'pancake' and 'crush down' mechanisms to explain the event, both of which have been clearly shown as impossible. To date, no official body in the United States has offered any other explanation, focussing instead on various rather obfuscating reports on details, some quite plausible, but none of which have yet combined to explain the total top-down fragmentation collapse.
