The viewpoint rotation can be done by selecting a viewpoint preset (RGB thing left of scene collection).

I am not sure how to make it appear on a certain frame. Oh, nice question. I don't believe it can be done. I think you can only edit one object at a time. Unless, you make all object into one object and then you could edit all objects since they are one. Does that make sense? 😎👍

Thanks for the tutorial. But I have doubt. If you leave the text as text object or curve object, it doesn't appear on dope sheet. I'ts a lot of pain to adjust keyframes later on. But if you choose to convert them to grease pencil object, then a few part of characters, say, a and o, would be closed up due to the nature of fill feature in Blender. Of course you can manually select the inner stroke points and then make them hollow or match the color of background. But isn't it too much hassle? Do you, by any change, know a good practice to work with lots of text for animation in grease pencil?

I have not done a lot of work with text in Blender. Since I have Adobe After Effects and that is where I do my compositing, I tend to fall back and do any text animations in After Effects. You are correct in saying that it is kind of a hassle but I don't think this was intended by the Blender developers. Its there and it is usable, you just need to figure out a way to do what you need to do with it. Let me know what you are trying to do and maybe we can do a tutorial on it. Good Luck! 😎 👍

Maybe this video is outdated, but when I convert my text into grease pencil, I have no holes in my "o" letters (different from what I see in your letter). In the other hand, in the outliner, It looks that your text is converted to curves (I noticed it, because of the icon), not to grease pencil object. By the way, I'm using Blender 3.5.1

You have to create a material for the text first, then when you create a cube or a sphere in object mode, you can always go back to the text, click on it and change the color in your material properties. Hope this helps. 👍

If you can't animate the opacity, One trick I use is to animate the scale. Go from 100% to 0% of scale in one frame and that should make it disappear. Let me know if this helps.

The text is its own object without a draw mode. Click back on the Grease Pencil object in the outliner. Hope this helps. 😎
