How about seeing the geometry for the combined ifcs? And how the 2 fit together in space.

I will do that with a follow up it's slightly more complicated because you need to use project coordinates, this is just demonstrating a usecase to introduce the tool

Hi! I'm trying to repeat your actions, but when I choose 'Execute', I'm getting error 'OSError: Unable to open file for reading' although all three files are closed and ready for reading and writing.

Hi Lala This tutorial is quite old now, if you use the same version found in the description it should work but I will be updating this one this year most likely in a few weeks, if you can't wait you can definitely ask people here on the OSArch community forum: community.osarch.org/discussions There are lots of people who can most likely help including myself

I had the same error. I fixed it when I used only Latin symbols (there were Cyrillic in the path before) and made the path simpler

There are some brackets around the argument file path or are they pipes?

Can not get this to work. BlenderBim has great potential but imo it's failing at the first hurdle of easily being able to federate models.
