Use can see the Emission in Eevee by turning on Bloom in Render Settings. Also dont forget to turn on screen space reflections!!

*Tip* : 5:48 the color channel did not work with the image texture node. I had to use the alpha channel and plug that into the Fac on the MixShader

Hi! It's a great video because I want to do the same thing. I suggest you make available the Python script that creates this keys and keyboard. Some users, like me, use Python scritps to create Blender object. It's easy! As you know Blender generates a Python script for each of your actions. See Info view. You can choose to publish the Info logs raw (now editing) or if you are a Python programmer you can simplify it and structure it by separating parts of the construction into functions. Either way is good for me. That would be very useful to many viewers.

Yes a driver would work but if you want to create a looping animation you would need to figure out that math to where the ColorRamp makes a full circle. That's why I put in a value of 3. :)

stupid question, but how do i change the direction of it instead from right to left to go from bottom to top etc etc. I didnt use UV as texture coordinate, i use Normals cuz of my model (making channel letters running rgb effect).

@@Craftente Go into Wireframe mode, press Numpad 1 to go into Front View. Then in Edit Mode, press 1 to select only verticies, and drag a box around the bottom half of the keys to select all the lower verticies. Hope this helps
