Thank you thank you thank you for this video! I used a transfer for the first time on a coffee table - ran into issues you addressed in here! Brandishing with a soft cloth! Superfine "sanding"! Needed that! (I had air bubbles, used a pin to pick the transfer, then pressed the air out with my finger, then clear coated. It worked, but this is better!) AND... I ordered my SurfPrep sanding system! I am so excited! Did some major sanding this past week with a much inferior sander and it about killed me. Took the SurfPrep plunge!😁

That is so cool! I’ve been working out some ideas to make my own flowers with printables and some fabric flowers. Some of my fabrics are so pretty I can’t handle it! These colors weren’t lighter so that is why, it’s generally for lighter colors from a white to a duck egg shade shades in between that :)

This turned out really lovely. Love the "guest" appearance of your pup. He's darling. So I have a question for ya? I'm just curious, how do you determine what you will charge for this piece or something similar? It seemed to take quite a bit of prep work, then the actual painting + the transfer. Being in Germany you may have to gauge it differently than you would when you live in the states. So I'm just wondering how you've learned how to charge for your time & talent. Maybe a ? for tues. Hi, there! I've also just noticed the colors you use here are no longer available on the Dixie Bell website. May I ask if you know what the closest equivalent to these colors might be from their current line? So many of the blues looks SO similar online. yes you sure can!!!!! just do not use gator hide :)

you sure can, but don't use gator hide, stick with the clear coats by Dixie Belle :) if that's the brand you are using

I have a question, I thought wax can’t be used on transfers. Is it just the easy peasy spray wax than can be used? If you don’t use the wax do you seal it with a clear coat?

ahhh yes okay, so it can be used OVER transfers, just not UNDER if you put wax on top of the paint prior to putting a transfer it won't stick.....I have learned that the hard way :) you can seal it with wax though, the only thing we have found is transfers don't like is Gator hide and polyurethanes :)
