My goodness I never thought of adding the cutouts to the assets panel. Brilliant, thanks.

When you refined your section after doing the initial selection, then refine and save image, you used the free hand select tool. What button did you click to remove the area you selected? It was clear from the video as it kind of rushed through that part. Can you clarify that a bit? Thanks.

Hi. Yeah, I sometimes forget to mention when I'm deselecting things. I click command (Mac) or control (windows) + D to deselect almost anything. Hope that helps. Have a great day and thanks for watching my little channel.

Can you drag your object from the page and drop it into the design page? Like I do in Photoshop. I have tried this with the move tool, it does not work. I prefer to work this way.

Thanks for asking. But, I'm not sure I understand your question. I can drag and drop files or images from outside of Affinity onto my canvas. Like from Finder (file manager) or from a browser.

I've tried using the cloning tool mulitple time for the girls feet and calves. But nothing happens. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Hi there. To clone, you first select the clone tool, then sample using the option or Alt key and click on a spot. Once you click the clone tool, there should be an option in the top menu bar that says "Current layer, current layer and below, or layer beneath". I usually go with current layer or below as you can clone the layer beneath the layer you are pasting onto.

@@PracticalAffinity Thank you for replying! It was the "current layer, current layer and below, or layer beneath" setting. Thank you for the push in the right direction.
