You have a true gift for teaching, Nick. I could listen to/watch you all day. Not only do you show the how, but you also (and more importantly) show the why. And you do so in a really calm and easy going way. It's a balm for one's photographic soul.

This was an awesome lesson Nick. I've watched a lot of PS tutorials and you make it make sense and a lot less intimidating. I only wished you would have fixed that dust spot upper left earlier in the video. I watched this over several hours as I had some time and I kept thinking that spot was on my MacBook screen! Great job Nick.

These are really great videos and since they're covering fundamentals, they apply beyond strictly Photoshop. I use Affinity Photo (and have used GIMP) and the same principles apply. Some of the tools are a little different, sometimes it's a slightly different path to get there, but the same logical workflow remains. As you move into more advanced topics I suspect they'll become relatively less useful for non-PS users but the basic high level principles will still apply. Now I just need to practice (well, I need to get out and shoot first!!). Well done.

Excellent tutorial for seascaping covering the reason for taking multiple images on a tripod taking into consideration the post processing. Like you, I multiburst and try different exposures of the waves and blend them together using similar techniques. The dodge and burn method of using a soft light layer is amazing. I’ve never seen that before especially using colour tints at the same time. I’m always inspired by your workflow. Thank you Nick

It is absolutely awesome that you are starting to pick up on your editing videos! Your skill set within Photoshop is fantastic and you are an even better instructor / teacher. I just bought your photography essential course and the luminosity one. I simply need to relearn editing from the Lightroom global adjustment approach to a much fine grain local adjustment in photoshop. Lightroom gets one complacent. Thank you for opening our eyes to the power of photoshop! 👍

Motion Blending or Shutter Blending is a great technique and pretty simple to do you just got to think of it at the time. Playing around with your shutter speed as well for different action events in the image as well is another thing to consider. The whole process is about shooting extra images to just complement the main image really :)
