Very beautiful batt & I can’t wait to try this with silk hankies I have cut them to add before but I was disappointed with the result this way looks great I will have to give it a go 😊

Thanks so much for showing this! I have quite a few hankies in my stash that I've wanted to blend with other fibres, and haven't been sure how to do it without clumps of almost undraftable silk. (Just the idea of using scissors on any type of fibre gives me hives.) Time to dig them out, and dust off my drum carder! ❤ Tamantha

That batt is stunning, and thank you for the idea for a batted hankie. I've wanted to add hankies to my batts for a while, but I was worried id get it stuck on the drum with it being a full hankie and such long fibers xx

Thank you! And yes the trick is letting it draft out as much as you can while its wrapping onto the drum so its a nice thin layer, its amazing how even just a little silk hankie will show up in your batt :)
