BLENDING Techniques with Art Crayons • Using Marabu Art Crayons

Larger paintbrushes often have similar size points they just have larger bellies. This is to hold more water or paint. For years i used tiny paintbrushes and then followed billy showel’s tutorials and learned that we can go up a good few brush sizes than imagined. I really think the third pear was painted with a far too small brush and you could have saved a lot of time sizing up and made the pain strokes better. Synthetic of course.

Hi. I have been thinking about getting them, but I wonder, since they look so creamy, I worry they go out fast! My Neocolors II seem to last forever. But these Marabu seems to be more plastic package than actual product. Am I wrong?

Unfortunately, I can't compare to the Neocolors which I would love to try as well. However, I tend to use the Marabu with water to extend the life of the crayon and the color.
