Maaan, im just starting my miniature painting journey, and after seeing some of your tutorials y feel like you just made me skip a few years of sucking at painting with some really simple yet really good tutorials, also helped me to look at it into more of an artist perspective willing to use more mediums rather that just acrylic hobby paints, thank man, keep the good work!!

Glad you found the video helpful! Both gunpla and military modeling use this technique for oil/rust streaks and such. Id also recomend you watch the "recess shading in 5min" video i did a while back for a trick to pin washing panels, or the dreadnought video for a compilation of techniques, its the closes ive painted to a gunpla.

I just painted my first mini using oils. It's a lot of fun. For me, the speed drying of acrylics is kind of stressful.

when it come to big surfaces i too find them quite fun and relaxing, just gotta make sure you dont put too much or then it becomes a mess

how long does I take to dry and can I paint with acrylics on top of oils? great video😀

because its so litle oil, wait at least overnight and it'll be good to paint over
