It is well deserved. Despite her being in the trinity, or skewed origin and execution never really placed her great stories on par with Bats and Supes. She should be what Thor is to Marvel. She finally has a chance to with the absolute universe.

I like it when DC or Marvel expand on Magic. Especially with a character like Wonder Woman. Who doesn't seem like a magical character sometimes, and is just another Metahuman.

I'm so excited to see Etta, especially given how TK's Wonder Woman run completely refuses to even acknowledge that she is Steve and Diana's best friend too. You're telling me she wasn't even at the funeral? Back to AWW, whilst I get why they invented an original sibling for Etta, it would have kind of been fun to see Mint Candy in a modern iteration. The fact that the name doesn't appear to be a play on words (which could run into dangerous territory), when there's been a lot of other nods back to the Golden age (right from Steve actually being dead when they first meet), is interesting. I wonder if they've have her and Barbara M as a thing again, like in prime earth. It definitely seems like they're hinting at least at Etta being a lesbian again. I wonder if they'll go the more sympathetic and nuanced "I'm doing this for my daughter, to save her" Veronica, or the original, colder version. I'm wondering if they might have her having had, and lost her daughter in a tragic manner, which lead to her pursuing the position she has. It would make for a fascinating foil for Circe. Jordie Bellaire is also just. An absolute TOP TIER colourist, and I'm loving Sherman's designs.

I'm actually so hype to see what they do with GL. All the Abs Universe have some sort of drawback to their usual abilities. Bruce has tech, but he's super limited and needs help in order to be batman. Kal has the standard powerset, but seeming on an energy scale, like how Iron Man classically functioned. WW probably has more than a missing arm, but we have yet to see it. What will drawing upon willpower do to an Abs GL?
