Nightcrawlers easily one of the emotion based out the series. I felt this issue, mother righteous been sending them out on suicide missions for 99 years lol

I think Mother Righteous realizes that she is losing followers because of the nightkin's infertility, so she is sending them on these missions to retrieve these magical artifacts to boost her power-not realizing that the same ones that follow her are the ones that retrieved these items in the first place. Blerd made a good point about the disjointed storytelling after HOX. Hickman laid a great foundation and revival of X-men and no story has even lived up to the hype. It's a little disheartening to see the age of Krakoa go out like this because it had such great potential for some really good stories

Good read…Spurrier is still really “heady” with this one tho. I like how he’s expanding on Kurt’s gene’s having a McGuffin to where his lineage has some sort of character flaw. (Cardinal had to eat a terminal apocalypse seed to override pacifism) I’m waiting for the HOX/POX callback where Nightcrawler took a leap of faith to get inside the tower 🧐

I wonder if Mother Righteous herself is a hybrid clone. The skin somewhat like Exodus, Hair like Storm and her gaining power from faith, belief and is a Sinster somehow capable of Magic. Back in SWORD series Orbis Stellaris(who we now know is a Sinster clone) was intrigued by Storm. He knew of Sinster using Moira clones to reset timeline. What if he is the original and made Mother Righteous as a test in this timeline

That would be interesting, but I don't think it works out. The 4 Essex clones were released long before Storm was born or Exodus was released from his stasis. And her faith-based magic was alluded in the first arc of Legion Of X, where it discussed the nature of divinity and its connection to faith.

@thomaskhalu In the current timeline, but I'd Orbis Sinster knows of the Moira clones and is the original true Sinster. He knew exactly where lab was. There is a possibility he played with Storm or Exodus or both genetics before. For all we know, this isn't the first Sins of Sinster Era. Orbis Sinster spoke of the eventuality of things when speaking to Destiny he knows more than most. We thought Diamond Sinster or Dr. Stasis could be the original, but perhaps it's him. Mother Righteous magic works the exact same as Storm's so far, powered by faith and essentially gives her the possibility of divine like status. But her appearance and beliefs make Exodus a likely candidate for DNA she could be based off of as alternate or in addition to.

@@darrius3022 I’m not even sure the X writers take into account the development of Storm’s mystical powers by Coates. They haven’t referred to it at all. Such a shame. You figure when she was Regent of Arakko (way too short lived) that it would come up and be a story point.

@darrius3022 it's a good concept but I'd go with a simpler yet also convoluted version of that until otherwise stated: 1. Sinister, Stasis, Stellaris and Righteous were all face-value clones of Nathaniel Essex (diamond, club, spade, and heart respectively) 2. Having been cloned way back at the end of the 19th century, each of them has done various things to themselves to either retard their aging or clone themselves again. 3. As such, to be magical and faith-empowered, Mother Righteous most definitely augmented her physiology with genes of beings capable of functioning like a deity. That doesn't mean they are Mutant genes in her, although it doesn't rule it out either. If there are Mutant genes she's incorporated they may not have been from known suspects like Exodus and Storm for the reasons stated about when she came on the scene and when they did. Although, nothing rules out that she didn't upgrade herself after they came on the scene. Going by the diamond version, Sinister isn't the exact same clone as what came out of the first vat. He's remade himself, psychically transferred his consciousness, or straight up ran a new version several times since.

@bajansamurai If none are original given the shared personality traits, the original would be around, involved in mutant affairs, and likely playing around with situations to manipulate favorable outcomes. Sinister is a scientist who always wants to see experiments through. 3) Exodus is hundreds of years old there's no way of knowing if Sinister or Mother Righteous or Orbis had access to him or not at some point to get his DNA. Considering he was one of few mutants to fight Apocalypse solo, there is a chance someone wrote about him or there was some type of lore. Also there's nothing to say there weren't other potential timelines. Mother Righteous could very well be original Sinster and we're all wrong. Maybe she used magic to clone herself and because its magic and sometimes unpredictable, it made clones male, and she plays like she doesn't know.

I wished to see how did they take down Ghost Rider (because at some point The Sinisters had to deal with at least 1 or 2 Ghost Riders, No?) Maybe with a Hybrid based on Darwin(?)

In a comic they stated the Ghost Riders picked up and left. If more than that was needed, they have various high level mystics and a souped up "mutant" Ghost Rider in hand anyway. No need for.a Darwin to deal with GR. Remember too, he's built to evolve and survive but that doesn't always mean he'll win. The other piece(s) of the hybrid would have to be the bizness.

Theory: Sinister created the original Moira Mactaggert. Look at the color of the mutant cure in House of X #2. Destiny cannot actually see Moira she sees an absence of her. A black hole or that sphere the night kin trying into it.

Right. the way its being written now is confusing. It makes me question if Moira even had powers, or was this all the product of Sinister. I'm leaning toward she was always just a pawn of Sinister sent back in time to a previous consciousness. The different timelines never made sense anyways, because her power would literally be multiverse time hopping, not reincarnation lol. Because how could she be sure each timeline is reset, in some timelines it had to be possible some things drastically changed before she was even born. It's all a mess now in my opinion.

In the leaks she is old in a wheelchair but she has followers who respect her as a queen and they wear her crown symbol. In one of the leaks she meets up with Destiny that is crying and Destiny joins her later in the pages. But who knows it's comics .

This book was so boring as with the whole Sins of Sinister storyline. If I didn’t buy this book I would’ve stopped reading it. Hard to make a storyline that can follow up Judgement Day
