This reliable thing got asked almost every day in the opr discord. The answer is no, reliable doesn't override anything. It says in the description "as if .. quality of 2". If you have -1 to hit, you are hitting on 3s, if you are fatigued you are hitting on 6s. Hope that clears it up for you :)

Good bat report! The Hive Lord should be casting that -1 morale as often as possible. It’s a crazy good combo for breaking units it charges 🙂

This game is a dopamine fest of rolling dices. No skill involved, mostly pure luck. Because the rules are too simple, and the player cannot take any strategic choice to gain an edge. It's just pure luck, masked as a wargame. It's great to introduce people to wargaming, but veterans get bored quickly of the system.

The videos I make are for introductory gaming. I show the army, give some unit building advice then a game with a themed list that isn't built to be super competitive. Me and my usual opponent like to smash stuff together and club each other with axe handles. There have been a few videos where I slow it down and explain the tactical situation of each choice in an activation. There are nuances to the game, whether to advance on the enemy, stay hidden in cover or even hold and do nothing with a unit for board positioning and pressure on your opponent. My videos are about the beer and pretzel games where throwing dice and having fun are the objective. If you want a competitive break down of opr go check out Nexus wargaming, he goes into the nuances and detail of the game, working the different armies and making custom ones to focus on winning. Plus there are many levels to the game using the advanced rule set that I can't show on KZbin that enhances the game by layering in more complexity. The core rules that I use are 2 pages, the advanced rules are 68 pages with different activations, board states, objectives, deployments, mission types, magical gear and advanced morale. And isn't any game involving dice just boiled down to luck?
