This made me so excited for our upcoming Christmas cruise on Carnival. This will be our 4th cruise but our first Christmas cruise. Our son is 13 and he loves the kids program on carnival. And, I am the same way with meeting new people. My husband is so outgoing and I am always nervous and uncomfortable.

Just returned off the Fantasy and loved every moment, second and hour of this cruise. We had a blast and plan go back later this year. I think we put the pounds on. Lived all the entertainment in the ship. Shout out to Mickey the Ship Director, Ryan, and Jay Jay, and Dj Rock Steady.

I'm going on this very cruise at the end of the week! First-ever cruise and your 5-day vlog got me even more excited...if that's possible! You and David are very much like my friends and I, so it was a wonderful perspective to see things through your eyes with regards to activities and spots to relax and such. Oh that looks like so much fun! My husband has no desire to go on a cruise ship, and I have a little curiosity, but I have a crippling fear of water. HOWEVER, I'd still go. My dad really wants to go on a cruise, because he was in the Navy so he says he wants to go on a ship where he doesn't have to work lol My husband and I are the same way, we don't really like to sit/be around strangers, but he can talk to anyone and I'm just like you are lol just leave me in my corner alone, thank you. I made some of those vietnamese summer rolls the other day! They're so easy to make and so good! I'm so glad you decided to share this with us because it's just so great!

Blessed Jess so the cost on carnival website includes taxes, port charges and you can add gratuity. We would have to add airfare but there are no other hidden charges??

Right, they add the taxes and port charges to the fare and give you the total you have to pay before a certain date. We added gratuity too and paid that before we boarded. Once you pay off the balance, the only other charges would be if you wanted a drink package, excursion, internet package, etc. It's such a great value!

I’m going on this cruise next week! Any tips or tricks I should know. How late did y’all usually stay out. And we live in Birmingham Alabama so we are just driving down the morning of. Is this a bad idea? Sorry for all the questions😂😂😂😂

Have a BLAST! I would give yourself extra time and leave earlier than you think just in case traffic is bad. You guys are going to love it. We usually stayed out until about 11pm or so each night, but you could definitely turn in earlier or stay out later. There is SO much to do or you can do nothing at all. Cruising is the best! Ask away if you think of any other questions! :)

I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I LOVE the Aldi tasting videos. I am a professional taste tester for the Firmenich company, which use to be the Senomyx company till a couple months ago. We develop and conceive new flavor enhancer for the major food corporations. I live in San Diego and the Aldi stores are new to our area so I am also new to the Aldi way of shopping. I love their food, but I love their savings even more. I love to cruise as well. Not sure how many cruises you have been on. We have been on 21 all with Carnival since 1/17/2000 with 4 more booked. So if you are a newbie to cruising, just ask me anything, I’ll probably know the answer to it. Thank you for your great videos.

Enjoyed this video so much, thanks for sharing! David seems like such a teddy bear! (no offense), the food looks amazing! Question-are the rooms that look out to sea more expensive? That faux window would drive me nuts lol. I'm like you Jess, I'm pretty shy around strangers but I try to engage. You might know this, I'm a little older than you and 10:15pm is late for me also, try getting in an afternoon coffee or espresso to keep you awake. ;)

He is a teddy bear, I say that all the time! :) The ocean view windows are more expensive, we've had them in the past and it wasn't worth it to us to spend the extra money when we only were in our room to sleep! :) We actually really liked the inside room, was so dark and cozy!
