I literally just bought this today, so I was delighted with your review mate. You're spot on - out of all three, this one has the 'Chanel' class and refinement to it. During multiple testings, I did get (seemingly) poor performance. However, I enjoyed the scent so still bought it. You did mention that others can still smell this, so perhaps it's not noticeable to the wearer

Bella Koshka I have a sample and have worn it multiple times. I agree, the performance is okay longevity is good but the projection is gone after like an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. However the smell is so delightful, fruity and creamy.

Hi Bella, thanks for stopping by my friend. The longevity I get is more than 8 hrs and projection through fabrics as I quoted in the review is easy 2 arms length even after 1 day so sorry to hear that you are not getting the same projection as me.

This guy is quite good, at first I was disappointed not I never gave it too much chance but it's a superb fragrance... The creaminess won me over completely, Elysium's cousin... 😂 You of course are the best❤️

I have only smelled the Parfum once but based on that experience and your description I wonder if this fragrance represents a modern more citrus heavy Egoiste? Do you find them similar?

AC you got the perfumer for the Bleu de Chanel Parfum wrong. Jacques Polge does not make the chanel fragrances anymore. In fact I think he has retired and passed down the perfumer job of chanel to his son Oliver Polge who has created masterpiece fragrances like SpiceBomb, so if your a fan of the perfumer Oliver Polge the new Bleu de Chanel Parfum is worth picking up. This is also the finished product or grown up version of Bleu de Chanel. It is a professional scent. A lot of people in the frag community did not like it. For example Jerry Fragrance recommend to buy the Bleu De Chanel Eau De Parfum verison and not the new version. It took some reviewers to actually smell it on another person for them to actually buy it, which is what happened to Carlos from Brooklyn Fragrance Lover. Anyway other than getting the perfumer mixed up, this is a fantastic review.

on the brink of finishing my 5ml sample of the EDT and have just ordered a 5ml sample of the new parfum! I hope I enjoy the new parfum version mate so I can decide to choose which I prefer between the EDT and Parfum, I will skip the eau de parfum as its too popular, I know its basically from 1 extreme to another lol, cant wait to get the new parfum sample its on the way from ebay!!

Smells Good AC me too mate! The edt of bleu really reminds me one of my all time summer favourite bvlgari aqua marine with the salt water grapefruit note! Have you tried bvlgari aqua marine mate? It’s highly highly underrated! Beastmode projection and great longevity! Smells very very natural, gorgeous scent! So I was thinking it might be a redundant purchase if I get the edt but I love the edt too, so refreshing and would be perfect for scorching hot summer days! Yes mate I heard really mixed opinions on the new parfum it really intrigues me.. Timmy from imaginescent says it only lasts 4 hours on him with 2hrs projection which sounds ridiculous lol then some other American guy (forgot his name) says it lasts 12hours on him with like 4 hours of solid projection! Crazy! Look forward to giving it a go myself AC so then I can decide and I’d say I’m pretty lucky as most ‘weak performing’ fragrances lasts a hell of a long time on me lol

You are lucky on the longevity side mate, although fragrances do last a decent amount of time on me too. I have tried Acqua marine and I didn't like it, its the aquatic sea like note which I quite dislike, so yeah it was a miss for me. The only acqua I like is Amara which i will review this summer :).

Smells Good nice yes it always feels good, like ysl lhomme for instance, the original I get 8+ plus hrs with it with really good projection with only just 2 sprays behind each ear! Talking of how much sprays I use mate..with all my fragrances I don’t go anymore than 3 sprays max and especially with bvlgari aqua marine could be quite cloying if over sprayed id say 3 sprays is borderline overspraying with that one, that’s how strong it is lol it’s a shame you don’t like it, I find it to be really unique and refreshing.. I don’t like the original bvlgari aqua pour Homme, that’s a title too much for me but marine sits more than great with me! I will get back to you mate on my take on the bleu parfum, have a great weekend mate! :-)

@@ACSmellsGood It just arrived!! WOW, amazing scent. I was worried the scent profile would not fit hot weather but this fragrance is surprisingly green. I can smell the geranium, mint and lemon zest fitting together. I can't wait to rock this in summer!! I just sprayed it not too long ago and I'm looking forward to the sandalwood dry down. Thank you for your recommendation and review sir. I LOVE IT!!! the edt gives me sore throat and the edp did not perform on me. But this is amazing juice

@@ACSmellsGood Ok Paaji. I bought this parfum version in India for 145 USD. Deep rich fragrance but a skin scent on me after some time. Not sure if skin scent projects and has sillage? Tried edp and it projected just a little better than parfum. Longevity is like 5 to 6 hours. In India sellers don't accept fragrance returns or exchange once sold. I do 4 sprays, behind ears and above collar bone. Do u suggest 1 or 2 sprays more for better peojection? Or spraying on clothes to perform better? Do u think it is fit for winters and can perform better?

IMO both are different. BDC parfum is more of an office wear formal scent. Parfum has soft sillage and projection. Longevity is moderate . Becomes skin scent very quickly. The other one Allure sports extreme is citrucy fresh, has great projection and sillage.

I tested this fragrance in a store, Boscovs...and LOVED it!!! Bought a full size bottle at Bloomingdales...and I hate it. Nothing but lemon lemon lemon...it never transitions to any other note...but hellish LEMON. Maybe this bottle needs to age for a year like the bottle I first tested...i don't know. This is expensively disappointing.
