You get the jist of the fragrance I’m sure but I’m the same lol I’ll smell them when I can but even the Sauvage Parfum is so much more refined and pleasant than the other concentrations IMO, I’m sure I’d feel the same with BDC too. I like more skin scents anyway so it works out

Little late, but same here i bought like 20 or 30 perfume samples and i tried maybe 5 or 10 till i came to bleu de chanel perfume and I instantly knew thats it and i don't have to try any others. It's just so perfect and feels so natural. It's not too intense on others but at the same time it's always noticable. For me the best fragrence out there.

Honestly it’s the perfect fragrance. After trying tons of samples over the years, I’ve simmered down my collection to two frags: OG spicebomb for the cold, BdC parfum for the heat.

Honestly just wearing a fragrance already gives you an edge since quite a lot of guys don't and while some fragrances are more common than others people do have different tastes and preferences so if you avoid those few currently overused fragrances and focus on finding another scent that you like personally, chances are actually high that you're the only smelling that way within your group of friends, relatives, acquaintances...

I guess it doesn’t really matter but I love when Ash backs up my fragrance purchasing decisions. Love my BDC Parfum and it’s the first of the line I’ve bought. Think I made the right decision though, I’m a lavender fiend so maybe that’s part of what draws me to the fragrance so much. Didn’t know that was a note in it!

I finally picked up EDP. I first smelled it in a local store a couple of years ago and remember thinking how awesome it was. It's not cheap but less sprays are needed, so in the end, it's not that expensive.

I’ve never smelled the EDT, but the Parfum (compared to the EDP) is very different. It’s deep, creamy.. it has depth. It’s classy. It’s very overstated. I think it’s a very posh scent.

I am a big guy. My skin is always warm, oily, sometimes wet. Edt sits on me for 1 hour and then it disappears, Edp for 2 hours, Parfum is amazing as it lasts near 4 hours. It is heavier, it is darker, however it IS the strongest Bleu, it projects and lasts longer.

love this stuff, just got another bottle because my last was out, for me it’s the best in the BDC lineup. as far as performance goes, the parfum outshines the edt and edp by a lot. for me it performs and projects and lasts wonderfully. had a friend ask me if i resprayed my cologne around 5-6 hours after i had actually sprayed it, he said it still smells just as strong as earlier. that was just awesome to me.

To be completely honest to me all 3 smell so similar it's hard to find the differences. I own the EDT and love the scent and it's affordable. When comparing this to the EDT Sauvage I personally love the BDC scent more but Sauvage just trumps it with its projection and longevity which is disappointing. I personally love the EDP more than the EDT for Sauvage as the vanilla note adds a level of elevation which the EDT lacks.

I have a suggestion: pop into a perfume store/department and spray the EDP on one wrist and the Parfum on the other. Leave it for around 30 minutes and you should notice that each concentration has a different dry down. The Parfum is beautifully blended. It’s darker and woodier but has an almost powdery hint. The lower alcohol content means that it doesn’t project as far as the other versions but I think it’s more of a subtle power fragrance. I reach for the Parfum when I’m formally dressed. Hope this helps.

I do really like that fragrance houses like Chanel, bring the three concentrations to a men’s fragrance line, like they do to the women’s line. It depends is your skin Type, I spray both on skin and clothes and it lasts. 8 to 10 hours it was still going very strong on me. I was surprised it was a 2021 bottle too. I got a 50 Ml to try out the performance gonna get the 100 ml next. I even thought about 150 ml but I’m not because I’m getting the other 2. The EDT and Parfum as well.

I wore the eau de parfum for over a year and loved it. Then when I bought a new bottle it smelled of nothing, really weak. I found out that they had changed the recipe (why did they do that?) and got a refund. What a shame! I now use Gio profundo which is even nicer - to my nose :)

I get compliments with Parfum. Personally its a bit too much for me, but in a night out, its a beautiful scent. This version is special to me because my Dad, a strong, humble, kind, and calm man would wear this and fill the whole house. You could smell him from far away. I guess this scent is special to me more for the memory than the actual scent.

I’ll say this. As you mentioned performance. You’re right it does depend on other people’s skin. But I do feel like that if you the smell to last longer on your skin, apply non scented lotion on your pulse points and then apply the fragrance. As it’ll hold on longer. But I’d also maybe spray it at least 5 to 6 times. Maybe layer it a little bit if you want to boost its performance. Or just add a couple or a few sprays on your cloths, as the smell does last longer on fabric.

Parfum, I think is meant to smell a little richer, denser, more sophisticated. I wouldn’t buy either of the three for retail price but having sampled all 3 I opted to go with the Parfum for the aforementioned reason and picked up a 100ml tester (with magnetic cap in a white box). For $110 incl shipping and I am happy with it. Pleasant every day , after shower blue vibe scent. Gotten me a few compliments too. Again, would not pay the nearly $200 retail price for it. Also, recommend to sample before buying because of the pricetag. Younger folks, teenagers or people in their 20’s may look at the edt or edp instead as they are fresher (ever so slightly) and stronger projecting. For men over 30 I think the parfum is more suitable.

What makes the parfum your favorite over the edp? I’m trying to decide between the two

@@hardbodycel3328 the duration and smooth late notes. I bought both together and started using the EDP, but switched to the Parfum. The Parfum is super suited for night outs with its bold notes, while retaining some freshness. The EDP also, but I find the freshness really nice during day time, and as I often out at night, I prefer theParfum. It boils down to your type of usage, but the best thing to do is to find atleast one sample of both fragrance (if between the EDP or Parfum) and try it during your daily to see which one suits you the best. Fragrance stores should hit you up with those easy. The EDT didn't go well with me, so I didn't invest in it, but the EDP and Parfum suited my preferences.

Forget Dior Sauvage, L'Homme Intense, Spicebomb, YSL Y, Acqua di Gio, Le Male, The One, Aventus, L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme, Bentley Silverlake and Azure or Explorer - THIS is the ultimate masculine freshie. I'm sure scent snobs turn up their noses at this because it's perceived as generic and undoubtedly has been worn to death but Bleu is a frag every man should have in their collection. It is every man's birthright. That perceived "mediocrity" is in fact one of this frag's greatest strength's - it makes Bleu timeless and one of the all-time greats.

I feel like the Parfum has a more "formal" kind of scent. Something you'd put on for the Oscars haha and the toilette and eau de parfum you'd put on for the club or goin out with friends... ?? I really like the Parfum a lot

BdC is very strong in terms of performance it's just subtle. It lasts a long time though. Best smelling of the three, it smells sophisticated compared to the other two.

Parfum was very smooth and creamy (iso e?) but lacks projection compared to EDP. Makes sense since it's the alcohol in EDP that makes it project. Parfum lasts longer but more of a skin scent. So different applications, parfum for intimate settings and EDP/EDT for just a out any situation.

I read this comment about a guy not liking BDC due to it smelling like lotion. The parfum was a masterpiece to me and now i cant do any of the BDC because i camt unsmell the lotion smell. The comolexities of the scent don't really xome through unless someone is right next to you during the opening. If you catch ot in the air its just very lotiony 😅

I have an older edt formulation and a 100ml and parfum, for me the parfum is more fuller and better smelling , I’d love Chanel to do a leather version in a black bottle and call it ‘ noir’ de Chanel
